"The rooms are spacious and offer excellent views. This was a pleasant surprise, especially compared to my stay at the Westin Pazhou in Guangzhou just last week. The entertainment facilities at this Zhongshan hotel are superb. The indoor pool is genuinely heated, so it's not cold at all (unlike the one in Guangzhou last week, which was so chilly I had to get out after ten minutes!). There's also a hot spring pool nearby. While small, it offers a nice view, and guests were peaceful and orderly – a big plus. For kids, there's a ball pit; though small, it's perfect for children under 4 and very photogenic. The gym and yoga room are well-equipped and clean. I even think I spotted a sauna/steam room, but I might be mistaken. The location is fantastic, situated directly above the Lights City Mall, with a direct link to the hotel from Guzhen intercity railway station. Plenty of parking is available too. Service: The front desk staff proactively asked if we needed children's toiletries upon seeing I had a child with me. Facilities: The indoor pool is truly heated and never cold, and there's also an accompanying hot spring pool. Environment: The hotel occupies a high floor. Though it offers a city view, from the rooms and public areas, you get panoramic vistas of Zhongshan, Jiangmen, and Shunde. Both evening moon-gazing and afternoon sunset-watching provide fantastic photo opportunities."

"The hotel is located at the city center of Zhongshan which is quite convenient to go to most of the tourist sites. The breakfast is good with varieties. I will stay again next time I visit Zhongshan."

"The Le Meridien hotel in Zhongshan was a pleasant stay. We lived in a suite on the top floor and during our stay the hotel staff were extremely accommodating. The room was a little dusty at first but upon request it was perfectly cleaned. They were fast and super nice about everything. Great value for money."

"This hotel, a former Crowne Plaza, was a great deal after using points for an upgrade. The room had sealed windows, a slight musty smell, and the AC was slow to kick in. The bedding, however, was soft and comfortable. There was only one power outlet on one side of the king bed, the shower stall was small, and the TV was old with a small screen and poor picture quality. But considering the excellent price advantage I got, it was a good value for a one-night stay."

"We visited Zhongshan for 2 days to have a look at the real estate and potential investment. The Crown Plaza is welll located not too far from a large nature park where we took a run in the morning. The service is outstanding in particular during the morning breakfast, where an attendant brought me a cappuccino I did not ask for, he just presented it saying this is on the house! This was a nice surprise! The room is as expected of a Crown Plaza, very nice and clean. From the pictures on the website, I was excited to see the pool and the tennis court, but was a bit disappointed since the pool looked deserted (off season?), and the tennis court looked worned out. Nice hotel to spend the night."
