"The hotel is located quite far from Karuizawa JR station. There is a pickup bus service every half an hour outside the south exit of the station. However the bus is very small and can be quite full at times, causing people to rush onto the bus. It would be better if the hotel could set up a better queue-up system or adjust the frequency of the pickup bus service. By the way you can deposit luggage at the customer centre next to the pickup bus stop and have them transferred to the hotel for you. I thought the hotel did not advertise the service enough as it is very useful and effective in creating more passenger space in the pickup bus. Breakfast at the hotel is not buffet style, so went to the Prince Karuizawa West hotel to have breakfast instead. During non-peak hours the hotel offers individual transportation for free so that is definitely a plus. The Momiji hot spring is definitely a must-visit. Clean, modern, hygienic, exactly what I look for in a hot spring. Overall service is excellent."

"We booked three rooms for three adults, but one turned out to be a sofa bed. It was quite hard and narrow (around 90cm wide), making it very uncomfortable for an adult to sleep on. While the suite's living room was exceptionally spacious, it felt largely wasted. The hotel's spa wasn't particularly impressive, so we skipped it. Overall, for over 7000, it was quite disappointing. However, the hotel's location is truly superb, offering great convenience for getting around. Due to this experience, I wouldn't book a suite again. The room's carpet also had a persistent, unpleasant odor that wouldn't dissipate, even with the door closed, and the bathroom's shower fixtures weren't working properly. The hotel's courtyard, though pretty, was far too small. On the positive side, the service was genuinely excellent, and the complimentary round-trip shuttle service to the train station was incredibly convenient. A standard room might be acceptable for a single night's stay, primarily because of the fantastic location."

"Room is good but service can be improved. First of all I’m gold member but the hotel didn’t allow me to early check in when I arrived at hotel at noon time. Secondly, they charge extra for basic amenities like shower cap. Last but not least, a brand new non-opened cup noodle of mine was missing after room cleaning…"

"The hotel is 15 minutes away from Karuizawa Station by car. There is a shuttle bus to the pick-up station. You can see the hotel pick-up area when you get off the elevator at the south exit of Karuizawa Station. Please pay attention to it. If you can't find it, you can only take a taxi. I arrived at 2 pm and checked in early. This is a large castle-style resort. My room has a small balcony and flowers are blooming in the courtyard. Although it is not a mountain view, it is not bad. Wendian and Wanping are no longer online in terms of management. It should have been a very good resort before. Now it is old and large in size, with low management level and average business. It feels like barely maintaining. I sat in the room and saw obvious dust everywhere. The hotel's sanitation is just acceptable on the surface and far from Japanese cleaning. It is not a problem of changing rooms. The room is old in color, and the board furniture is very old and low-end. A closer look shows that there is dust everywhere. I actually wiped the dust for half an hour in the Japanese hotel before I could sit down. The hotel has a beautiful environment with three chapels. The gardening is online. The roses are very well taken care of, but it is not the season. It is very pleasant to take a walk, with birds singing and flowers blooming. The hotel has two hot spring areas. The public hot spring has a coupon that allows you to have a drink at the restaurant next to it. Both hot springs are very good and worth soaking in. The dinner is Western food, which is excellent for the price. The breakfast buffet is average. If you don't include meals, you can eat soba noodles next to the public hot spring for dinner. There is also a cafe, but there is no food for breakfast, and there is no convenience store. The room facilities say that there is a safe in the closet, but it is not opened. The curtains are leaking a lot of light and wake up early. The tea bar on the second floor hot spring and the viewing terrace provides very poor things, especially the cappuccino made by the coffee machine splashing everywhere without milk and the coffee is also unpalatable. Check out at 11 o'clock. There is a shuttle bus to the station at 11:10. It's a pity that the surrounding environment is so good that it is much better than Indigo, but it is not well managed. This situation can only get worse and worse until it goes bankrupt."

"Located approx 20min walk from the station, but close to the old Ginza street. The rooms are a little old but well maintained. There is an indoor and outdoor onsen on the third floor and breakfast is very good."

"I discovered this gem on Xiaohongshu, and it was even more stunning in person than in the photos! The hotel is nestled in a tranquil forest within a private villa area, complete with a secluded path that leads directly to Hoshino Onsen and Harunire Terrace. The interior design is incredibly thoughtful and tasteful; the kitchen and tableware, in particular, were exquisitely chosen and felt very high-quality. The bedding was so unbelievably soft and comfortable, it felt like sleeping on clouds! Every detail revealed impeccable taste. I was so impressed, I even asked the owner where they sourced some of the items, haha! It was an incredibly satisfying stay, and I'm already planning my next visit with friends!"

There is a small bar, next to which is a row of lazy sofas, coffee, various Japanese teas, and snacks are available at will. Champagne has a time period in the afternoon, and guests staying in the hotel can also enjoy it at will. The details are really comfortable. There are two hot springs in Hoshino Hotel. The Hoshino Hot Spring is relatively large and famous in Karuizawa. It is open to the public at the hotel entrance (free for hotel guests). There is a smaller hot spring inside the hotel. Hotel guests can go there at any time by pressing the password. I went there to experience it. There were few people and the feeling of comfort was beyond words. The scenery of Hoshinoya Karuizawa Hotel is really beautiful. It is so beautiful. There is a view at every step. The air is very fresh. I really want to be drunk in the autumn scenery and don't want to wake up. This is a hotel I still want to stay in if I have the chance. Finally, I still want to say that the world is worth it~"

"There are three rooms in the two-story villa, one of which has four beds and the other two beds. Each room has a bathtub. The open-air hot spring in the room is very small and can only accommodate one person, but the bathroom has a large jacuzzi and a TV. The vacation is really great. The ski resort is very close, and you can play at the age of three. Aolai has a few big names that are still expensive. The sukiyaki pot and teppanyaki in the hotel are great. If you bring children, it is more suitable than Hoshino, and Hoshino Hot Spring can not go. The hot spring in the hotel is already very good. There is a big supermarket, Delice, which is 15 minutes by taxi. You can buy things and cook in the room. The cooking in the room is very convenient. The waiter can wash the dishes. It is perfect."
