"The hotel is good for family vocation with a big swimming pool, childcare room, daily activities, bicycle rental, gym, karaoke & spa for all age groups It is conveniently situated with a night market across the hotel. There's rows of massage shops and varieties of restaurants such as Vietnamese, Korean, Western & seafood. It took about 20 mins to Duong Dong, Central & about 40 mins towards Northern Phu Quoc. Also, it is suitable for a couple. We had an enjoyable wedding anniversary stay at BWP."

"Your hotel is very beautiful and the swimming pool is very huge. We stayed at small villa and enjoyed the amazing sea view from room. The beautiful beach is just in front of the hotel which is extremely convenient. There are lots of indoor facilities such as gym, snooker, ping pong and hockey machine. We used them when there was heavy rain outside. The breakfast has lots of different choices and the tastes are very good. We love the coconut coffee and mocha coconut water! In the dining area we saw an Indian chef with black uniform checking food. My husband who is also a hotelier saying once you see the chef standing in the restaurant, the food must be promising! I would like to especially thank to the front desk staff ”Ha” and duty manager ”Katherine”. During check-in we found we had made double reservation by mistake. While we were so worried about the charge, they patiently helped us to solve the problem immediately. In fact I could see all the staff greeted guests with sweet smile all the time. Again my hotelier husband said this hotel did provide very good and professional trainings to all staff. Again I appreciate your preparation of the bed for celebrating our dating anniversary. You had given me unforgettable experience, I will highly recommend my friends to stay in your hotel!"

"In the southern part of the island, we opted for the landmark Hilton in Sunset Town, whose balconies offer an unparalleled view of the fireworks. Even if you're not a hotel guest, you can simply grab a drink at the bar to secure a balcony seat and capture stunning photos with the fireworks as your backdrop. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with our kids, and the hotel thoughtfully provided a special dessert. We had dinner at the hotel's Western restaurant downstairs, which offered a wonderful ambiance and setting. Each room comes with a complimentary straw hat and bag (for use during your stay only), which are perfect for photos, especially by the infinity pool! During your stay, complimentary tickets for the 'Kiss of the Sea' light show are provided. The show begins at 9 PM. If you sit close, be prepared to get wet, and the fireworks are incredibly close, exploding right overhead. It's truly breathtaking! However, just a heads-up, some ash might fall, so be mindful. There's no show on Tuesdays, but a 5-minute fireworks display still takes place from 9:30 PM to 9:35 PM. Purchasing cable car tickets at the hotel grants unlimited rides throughout your stay. The cable car connects directly to Hon Thom Island, which is still under development. A row of Santorini-style buildings has been built, though they don't seem to be open yet. There's also an amusement park on the island, currently featuring just two attractions: a thrilling roller coaster 🎢 and an observation tower. Additionally, there's a fantastic water park, with the 'Sliding Dragon' slide being a particular highlight. Our kids absolutely adored it, and even after two consecutive days of fun, they still couldn't get enough! It's more thrilling than the VinWonders (formerly Vinpearl Land) in the northern part of the island. I'd recommend going to this one; you can skip the northern park entirely. 🚨 **A crucial note:** The amusement park closes at 4:30 PM and the cable car shuts down at 5 PM. So, if you plan to visit for just one day, it's best to start early. Also, note that the cable car takes a break from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Make sure to check the operating hours before planning your trip."

"The location was further up in the north but the facilities is well maintained and abundance in space. This is what a resort should be like! Windy, spacious. Though, there could have been more beach/hotel activities. The complimentary airport pick up and safari tickets was a nice touch! We enjoyed the free shuttle around grand world, safari and Vinwonders."

"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The service was truly excellent; the staff were incredibly warm, always smiling, and very proactive in helping. The biggest highlight was on my daughter's birthday evening when the hotel surprised us with a 'Happy Birthday' wish, a cake, and a card. My daughter was absolutely overjoyed, and it truly felt like a special celebration. Our four-night stay was incredibly satisfying. Although the rooms were a bit dated, it didn't dampen our spirits. The airport transfer service was fantastic."

"The room met expectations, though it was a bit dated. Perhaps guests from India don't mind as much, but the carpet and sofa weren't very clean. The hotel had a lot of Indian and Korean guests. I was quite surprised to see an Indian guest eating breakfast with their hands in the morning. The pho at Wyndham hotels is always good; other food items were just average. The pool and beach were decent, and the lifeguards were always present and seemed quite diligent. The buggy service was well-organized, and passengers boarded and alighted without any issues. The flooring in the common areas showed some signs of wear and tear; I hope they renovate it soon."

"Hmmm…overall is a good hotel. However, I don’t feel it is a 5 star worthy rated hotel. We booked for 3 night stay and by the second day, while I was having shower, I ran out of shower gel. The amenities in rooms should be enough for the stay. The guests shouldn’t have to experience leaving the shower without a complete bath. Perhaps the bottles should be transparent so that the house keeping staff can easily see to replenish or not. The other issue we had was the staff at the bar doesn’t know the menu at all. We asked 3 times if the burger was beef, and she told us it was pork. We find it hard to believe but she insisted it was..so I ordered the fish and chips instead but a few minutes later a waiter delivered a burger to the table next to us and I asked the waiter if it was beef burger and he said yes. We try to change our order with another waiter and he tried to talk us out of it and told us it was 20 minutes wait simply because the fish and chips is ready. That’s very disappointing. We have stayed in many 5 star hotels and this one missed the mark!! Definitely not 5 star service Having said all the able, hands down to their breakfast spread! Super delicious and the varieties is endless!"

"The Turquoise Suite, one of only 15 in the most beautiful JW Marriott, truly lived up to its reputation. We had a delightful two-night stay. The hotel's decor is themed around a retro French university, with each building having its own unique character. Overall, the hotel service was quite good; every time I called for a buggy, it arrived in under five minutes (basically, I'd call and head downstairs). Compared to another luxury brand in Phu Quoc, while drinks and snacks in the room aren't complimentary (if you're a heavy drinker, just pick the other one) and the pool/beach staff are less proactive, JW offers many more options for dining, entertainment, and activities, making it much more engaging. One thing not often recommended on Trip.com is using the JW app for a treasure hunt-like game, scanning QR codes at 48 spots within the hotel (I've attached a photo of my completed game). This allows guests to explore the entire 'university' in depth, which I personally found quite interesting. The Pink Pearl restaurant is also excellent. Finally, I'd like to thank the hotel for arranging complimentary transport to our next destination. Thank you. If I visit Phu Quoc again, JW will definitely be my first choice. If I had one suggestion, it would be to add a dressing table to the suite, so one wouldn't have to do their makeup in the bathroom."

"The resort is beautiful and the size is perfect, it is big but you can walk everywhere in 10 minutes which is great. The beach is clean. The food was good, but there were no snack options during the day. The pool bar only opens 11am, and they don't serve any food. You need to go to Shack restaurant, and they only deliver to the pool a few options from the menu in a box. Otherwise, you need to eat at the restaurant. (Some friends were all inclusive, and they won't deliver anything in this case) One day, the pool bar was packed, and there was only one staff member taking orders and preparing the drinks! When I suggested the manager send one more staff member to help, he asked me to be patient or order from the restaurant. Meaning they won't improve the service if there are too many people in the pool. It's probably because of the all-inclusive service, to reduce their consumption. But the people who are not all-inclusive will also be affected. My 3 yrs old son and a 4 yrs old friend cut their feet in the swimming pool. The manager came worried and asked what I needed, but his suggestion was for them not to stay too long in the pool and he said my son is probably a city boy and he is not used to it. The thing is, we go to the pool every week, he knows how to swim and we have been to similar trips to Bali, Phillipines and Thailand and this never happened before! So Im pretty sure the problem is their swimming pool floor, whether the tiles are too rough or there are sharp things on the shallow areas. In fact, I stepped on something sharp one time, luckily I was walking and it didn't cut me. (The picture of my son's feet is 2 days after it happened) So the hotel is beautiful and convenient, clean, the price is good. But I have concerns about the swimming pool, so I would probably not go back because of that. And I would not take the all-inclusive as there are some restrictions."
