It was my first time staying in a homestay abroad. The owner had WeChat, so we could communicate through WeChat, which was also very convenient for translation. The owner also explained all the issues in great detail. The place was clean, tidy and safe. The hotel is in a great location, right at Pigeon Square in the center of the old town. Staying here means you can walk to famous places in Sarajevo. The old town is rich in specialties, and the airport bus takes only a few minutes to walk to the City Hall.

We liked everything, the location is great, it is in the heart of the city, it was not difficult to find, but it was difficult to get inside, because the day was simply closed, we did not receive any messages about how to get into the hostel, we had to look for WiFi to contact the owner, the situation was resolved quite quickly, but as they say, a small aftertaste remained.
The owner himself is very friendly, apologized for the situation.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would absolutely come back again. The location couldn’t be better, it’s close to everything, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions just a short walk away. Public transportation was super easy to access, which made getting around the city hassle-free. What really stood out to me was the owner. Damir were incredibly attentive, welcoming, and full of helpful information about the area. From local recommendations to travel tips, he made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained — exactly what you hope for after a long day of exploring. It felt like a cozy retreat I could truly relax in. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant experience!

Such a gem of a hostel in Old Town. I had the great luck of spending three nights in one of the larger rooms. Damir is an amazing host and the location is perfect. Don’t miss some of the many free tours that start a few blocks away. It’s a fantastic way to see the city. I highly recommend Pigeon Square to all types of travelers- young and not so young! Hvala

We had a great time! Damir, the host, is so friendly and gave us many helpful informations. The rooms are cozy and clean. We met several very nice other guests. There is a small kitchen where you can brew yourself a cup of tea. Bathrooms are clean. The hostel is however located at a very busy place with a lot of traffic which you hear from most of the rooms. But the view onto the pigeon square is fascinating. We can warmly recommend this place! Thank you, Damir, for the wonderful time at your hostel!
