This Inn is on the National Registry of Historic Places, but the owner(s) were very smart in regards to all the upgrades to this very modern Inn. This is the stay of the future; no front desk or Inn keeper, only security cameras, keypad locks and self-service. They trust their guests and leave them to enjoy the property in peace. They provide everything a basic stay would need, and then some. From snacks, to ice-makers, to all the coffee fixings you will need, to beautifully-appointed rooms and a bathroom that makes you feel like you’re staying in a mansion. This is not a B&B, but far more than any hotel I’ve stayed in. Downtown Staunton is only about a ten minute walk down the street and is a must-stop for anyone staying. I only wish we had more time to spend in this one-of-a-kind luxury Inn.
