Had a fantastic stay at Utstein Hotel! Beautiful surroundings, great food and wonderful staff. The facilities were very comfortable and modern, but still managed to capture the maritime and agricultural theme of the local culture. A great place to relax and enjoy the view outside the window. Would definitely recommend!

The positives: beautiful location, excellent breakfast and great architecture. The not so positive: teeny tiny room (the bathroom was probably the smallest I have seen outside a ship) and reception team seemingly confused by the requirements of our group (including which rooms were allocated).

Lovely hotel located outskirt of Stavanger in the fjord side. A peacefull location to enjoy sunset in the summer. Can borrom bycyle to explore beautiful surrounding including the Utstein Kloster Monestry (the only surviving and preserved monestry from the last Viking age, 12th century).

a very cosy place for hide out and comfortable business meetings. We stayed there on a workshop and bonding outing with our team and enjoyed the views, the quietness and the excellent food. Very recommendable also if you like kayaking and cliff jumping.

It's the perfect place for a weekend getaway. Plenty of stuff to visit on the island, the food at the hotel was really great and the view was really pretty. Staff was very helpful, the room was clean and spacious. Sauna on the pier was also great. Would come back to this place in the future!
