large room with balcony 20m away. from the lakeside, with views of the lake and the beach. very calm. very friendly service. 10 minutes from the port to go by boat on the Rhine. outdoor parking and breakfast included.

The location right on the Swiss shore of Lake Constance cannot be topped. However, this only affects the ambience of the restaurant garden, which is open when the weather is good. The hotel itself is located in a set-back building with the charm of a youth hostel. The impressions in the restaurant were very different. While a friendly service person tried very hard at lunchtime, in the evening we were dealt with carelessly, incompetently and rudely. The food: uninspiring to annoying, especially given the steep prices. Only the “Romanoff” ice cream sundae sparked pure joy. At breakfast there was no sign of service, some pastries from the day before, or “not ready yet” (9.15 a.m.!) If you want to experience staff problems: come in!

Die Lage des Hotels ist natürlich herausragend, direkt am See! Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, kleines Bad, kleiner Balkon. Frühstücksbuffet völlig ausreichend. Der Garten am See ein Traum! Alles in allem empfehlenswert! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Accoglienza cortese e struttura nel complesso molto carina. Situata in zona silenziosa con una bella vista sul lago. Camera curata contenente l’essenziale. Purtroppo calda oltre ogni sopportazione essendo esposta al sole pomeridiano e composta da grandi vetrate. Mancava l’aria condizionata e l’unica dotazione era un ventilatore portatile. Ristorante molto buono, colazione con tanta scelta di prodotti. Bella la vista riva lago.

Auf der Suche nach einem schönen Plätzchen am Wasser bin ich per Zufall auf dieses Bjou gestossen. Der Besuch auf der schönenTerrasse sowie das ausgezeichnete Essen und der ungewöhnlich gute Service hat mich positiv überrascht. Bravo an die Küche und an den Service. Solche Restaurants findet man nicht überall, den solch exponierte Betriebe werden meist als saisonbedingte „Abzockerrestaurants“ geführt.

Gab an einem Sonntagmittag nichts zu Essen wegen Personalmangel. War Schade für den Weg hier hin. War früher mal ein tolles Restaurant mit gutem Essen und super Service. So kann man etwas tolles runterwirtschaften. Und das in der Vorsaison.
