"The hotel was better than I expected. I booked it 30 min before arriving. I was early but was able to check in earlier than stated. I requested a double room ( solo traveller) and was give a spacious, clean room with plenty of natural light. Although basic and in need of modernisation I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It was also great value for money. Location was perfect. Just off a busy road so ideal as a mid stop from motorway towards Oxfordshire/Cotswolds etc.
I had their set lunch menu which was delicious. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon so ate in their lovely courtyard garden. It was beautiful. I had no objection from staff for eating outside instead of their restaurant.
In fact all the staff were pleasant and helpful.
I took a walk around the area. It was safe and had wonderful views.
Breakfast was great. Cooked full English ,pastries, fruit, juices etc..
Definitely worth staying. It has charm and surrounded by fields and a good countryside vibe."

"It is a new hotel, but the pictures and texts do not match. I thought it was a small villa at the back. It was actually the second floor of the building at the front desk. There was a restaurant next to it. At night, many people were very noisy below. The sink in the bathroom was too small. Small, small, the bathtub is very good, The heating is also very sufficient, and the supermarket opposite is also convenient."
"Amazing stay!
The hotel is good. We couldn’t find the WIFI and the shower was ok, could improve with a different shower head. Other than that, the room was warm and clean, the linen was soft and warm, the shower had underfloor heating which was lovely. They provide you with a hair dryer and buffet-style breakfast with unlimited tea and coffee is worth it.
I would gladly stay there again."
"Shame no cooked breakfast and would have had dinner there for two nights if it had been possiable. The hotel would have been lovely in its hay day please give it a refurb and you will do very well for customers in the future.Bedroom was clean needs a new shower rubber on the shower door water goes on the floor.Service was very good and on the reception desk.So over all we still enjoyed our stay and got to visit the lovely area around.Thank you."
"Booked for two nights while visiting Oxford, Woodstock and Blenheim Palace.
The accommodation and location fitted the bill perfectly. Although out of Oxford we had good good routes to all our destinations and the Park and Rides were beneficial.
Accommodation as expected - good standard. Dined there one evening - food good and well presented.
All staff we encountered were: pleasant, friendly and helpful.
Recommended - would book again."
"The highway from London was closed, and it took more than two hours to drive on the ground. It took three hours to get there instead of an hour. We drove a lot of country roads. It was pitch black at night, and it would be scary for a timid person to drive alone. The countryside in the UK is really dark at night, and it is not recommended to drive alone at night. The hotel is inside a rest stop, the service is good, the staff is enthusiastic, but the hardware is really a bit old, it's OK for one night's sleep."
