Hotel Rheinfels

Booked a short stay on 1 day notice. Got a nice room overlooking the river. This is a charming, quaint and historic hotel although our room was nicely updated in a very smart way with USB outlets and a really nice updated bathroom. The service was outstanding and the dinner was really exceptional for food quality on the beautiful terrace.

We had a very nice spacious room overlooking the river. Perfect walking location for the town. We had a wonderful fish lunch in their restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend visiting Stein am Reim -- it's a wonderfully picturesque town and this is a great place to stay there.

One of the best kept secrets in Switzerland, this hotel is a gem, the location is perfect in the beautiful town of Steim am Rhein, the service can't be better, georgeous rooms and the hotel restaurant is a 5 star.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ You won't believe this kind of culinary delight is this little town The Paella in this restaurant is probably the best I ever had, paella in Switzerland? yes your heard right..! Thank you Mr.Campo, for one of the best experience we had in this trip.

This town and hotel were perfectly matched - lovely and interesting. The check-in experience is a bit unusual in that there isn't a dedicated check-in desk, but any staff member you meet will immediately see that the appropriate person checks you in. We stayed in a room on the 3rd floor with dormer ceilings and a beautiful view of the river (Rhein) and the lovely houses across the river. While an historic structure overall (all kinds of interesting decor in the hallways and landings), the electrical outlets and bathrooms were of the 21st century - very convenient and fully functional. Beds and linens were sleek and comfortable. Breakfasts were as seen often in Germany and Switzerland and other European cities - lots of choices of meats, breads, cheeses, cereals, yogurts, etc and freshly cooked eggs upon request. Overall, we loved our experience in Stein am Rhein and at the Rheinfels hotel.

The hotel is absolutely charming, situated in this very lovely part of Switzerland, where most buildings are decorated. The hotel has a 2 hour stay small car park, and no parking itself. That said, there is plenty of parking no more than 5 minutes from the hotel. The building is characteristic of the area, with sometimes squeaky and uneven floor boards. Our room had the most breathtaking view: top floor overlooking the river . The hotel restaurant (our table was overlooking the river) specialises in fresh river fish dishes. Not a very adventurous menu, but everything is fresh and tasty. We loved our stay.
