Kouros Art Hotel (Adults Only)

I stayed for a week in October with my partner (we were the last guests of the season 😁). We felt right at home from day 1. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. It had a safe, small fridge, coffee machine, hairdryer, air conditioning, and extra pillows + blankets if needed. There was also a small clothes line on our terrace. The pool wasn’t busy during our stay, so you don’t need to worry about getting up early to reserve a sun lounger. I also appreciated that the hotel gives you beach towels upon request. If you’re looking for a quiet hotel to relax, I totally recommend visiting. It’s a smaller hotel so the service and experience is better. As others have said, renting a car is a good idea because the nearest village / beach is a 20 minute walk. Special mention to Koralia on reception for the great tips she gave us. Thank you again!

I stayed here during my stay in Naxos. I picked it based on the reviews. I wanted peace and quiet. I liked that there were no kids allowed. The staff were amazing. They looked after me, gave me so many suggestions and went above and beyond. Absolutely faultless. I didn’t hire a car because I wasn’t on the island for long. And I just wanted a quiet getaway, away from the crowds. So it was absolutely perfect. Faultless.

We had a wonderful reception at the Kouros Art Hotel, from a receptionist who was helpful and informative throughout our stay. Location was good, just a few km from the port of Naxos. Rooms were fairly large and comforable, with good showers and toiletries provided. Everywhere was very clean and the site was well maintained. The pool was pleasant and never crowded, with electric sunshades over the loungers if required. The quality of the food was superb, with a wide variety and different choices available at breakfast. The daytime/evening menu was limited, but it was possible to pre-order - eg, Greek vegetarian dishes. These were 'home cooked' and delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel. One caveat. Although Naxos Town isn't far, a car is needed and parking is horrendous. This means that, even before the season had properly started, we had to twice abandon eating dinner in the town and find somewhere else to eat - which wasn't easy.

Excellent hotel on Naxos with great staff and amazing rooms. We initially booked just 1 night, as we intended to get a villa but after Koralia gave us so much usefull info and stayed at reception until we arrived (our ferry got in at 23:30), and our room (91) was amazing, we booked another 5 nights. Our suite had a hot tub in the room, in a classy way and I was even able to watch the football from the hottub. Bed was huge and comfy. Linen was top quality. Nothing was too much for the team at the hotel. They even kept the hotel open 1 extra night after they were due to end the season, so we could stay. We were the only ones here but the team still looked after us very well. Breakfast had great selections; omelette, bacon, eggs, bread, yoghurt, cakes (even cheesecake one day), amazing OJ. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. You prob want to hire a car to see all of Naxos, and the main town in 10 mins away and there are the best beaches and restaurants 5 mins behind the hotel. Excellent value for money, super staff. 5*

Our travel agent booked this for us for two nights, and we had no input into the room, which was room 87. It was disappointing; little natural light which made it slightly claustrophobic, our outside area was not at all private, the advertised espresso machine was apparently only now put into certain rooms and there was no bottled water in our room – a first on this trip. On a plus side, the bed was comfortable and the shower very good. There only appeared to be one person on duty at any time, so no offers to help with suitcases. The buffet breakfast was adequate. The hotel was quiet, and remote, with lovely views of the surrounding area. A car would definitely be an advantage here. We didn’t get to Agios Prokopios, which is apparently very nice We walked into Naxos Town - (fellow guests waited 45 minutes for a bus to appear) – and it was lovely. Bus back was only 2 euros each! It was very windy during our stay so the windsurfing looked good. We walked to the nearest beach, which looked nice, if you like beaches. Ate at the Stelida Restaurant the first night which was delicious – you need to book. The second night we ate at the hotel; the lady doing the coking is a shining star in this place! She mans the bar and does snacks and food. She will prepare special requests for you if you give her notice. We ate off the menu and it was delicious!
