The unit is very small with no workspace. This is student accomodation and the atmosphere is not very relaxing. The bathroom is also not a place where you feel comfortable to take a relaxing shower or bath. The entrance area near the parking currently under construction.

We stayed at Magnolia Place when we came to Stellenbosch to settle our son into first year university. We had a lovely relaxing stay and loved our private garden patio. Lovely breakfast too. We will definitely stay here again.

comfort and tidiness of the room, the room was well equipped for a couple, the location was good- quiet neighbourhood not very far from the city centre. he advert said the room had a garden view, but there was no view from the window. A small garden corner was only visible when the door was completely open. The WiFi connectivity was horrible. The secured parking place was tiny for multiple cars (when the guesthouse was almost full of guests)

We were put into a “separate/other” property, that was unkempt and building materials in the garden. The room assigned to us reeked of long-term smoke despite advertising rooms as non-smoking - and as someone with respiratory issues, I couldn’t stay there. I asked for an alternative room and was told they were fully booked and I had to stay there. We left, requesting a refund, which we have not received, nor an apology from the owners. We had to book and pay for other accommodation. Shocking customer service.
