Top experience to be in this vineyard! Beautiful and large room , with a very nice personnel! Welcome wine drink and very good food at the restaurant. From dinner to breakfast, a top choice! Will be back soon!

Nice location with very friendly staff. Pool area could be upgraded (benches and service at the pool). In our rooms the balcony door on the ground floor and a window on the room in the first floor (next to an easy to climb on roof) could not be locked.

We stayed at Asara Wine Estate for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The room was tasteful and comfortable, and the views across the estate were a real highlight. The staff were welcoming throughout our stay. Both dinner and breakfast were enjoyable, with good service and a particular mention to Victoria, who looked after us really well. A short but very relaxing visit, and one we would happily repeat.

Stayed two nights on arrival in South Africa, have been to area before but not here. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, clean room with good views. Only downside is the limited restaurant choice in the evening, would have liked to eat at the wine bar but it closes in the evening. Otherwise lovely hotel and would definitely stay again.

Although short, we had an incredible experience at Asara. We were carried on the hands from the welcome to the goodbye. I will highly recommend Asara for anyone who just need to rewind and break away from the everyday business.

While the hotel is beautiful and the employers are very kind, the service is terrible. At the restaurant the orders took too long, the waiters kept forgetting things so we had to keep reminding them. When we called from the room to reception for laundry and other things they always said they were going to send someone and never did. It’s ok if I had to go and pick it up or leave the laundry but they offered to go and never came. And the thing that I think was the worst is that I schedule a couples massage, the day of the massage my partner was sick so I went to the reception to tell them it was only me, they told me ok that it was no problem. I got charged for the couples massage instead of one because they said they had a cancellation policy of 24 hours that they never told me even when I went to cancel it and it clearly wasn’t true because it says on the paper 5 hours prior!! The person at the reception told me that they couldn’t do anything and I had to pay because there was no proof that I did let them know, basically they told me a liar when they were lying about the cancellation policy. I didn’t get a refund and got treated really bad. Terrible service and terrible communication between the reception and other employees. It’s so sad because is a really beautiful hotel and like I said the employees besides that are really nice. They receive you very kind but it goes down from there, the service was worst with every day passing. They really need to work on that.

What a treat to stay at this beautiful hotel with magnificent views of the Stellenbosch mountains. The staff went over and above expectations to make us feel welcome and comfortable. What a peaceful setting with comfortable rooms and delicious food. I would highly recommend it.
