One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Beautiful setting in the wine region. Our room was stunning. Very generous mini bar. We were lucky, as a group, to have the stunning dining room to ourselves. The meal and wine tasting was excellent. I liked how the older components of the building were incorporated into the newer areas.

Lanzerac is a lovely hotel just outside Stellenbosch. It's big and impressive in terms of layout and facilities whilst holding on to old- world authenticity. Three or four restaurants, two pools, a big modern spa and some lovely views. We had a suite which was old fashioned terms of decor but spacious and very comfortable. Staff universally attentive. our only issue was the quality of the cuisine. Each night we eat, food went back; it simply wasn't good enough. In each case horribly overcooked meat. That being said, we really enjoyed the whole Lanzerac experience and will probably return.

Another wonderful stay at Lanzerac. The location is an ideal springboard for visiting Stellenbosch and the winelands. Tasteful decor, peaceful ambience, comfortable room, attentive and friendly staff and fine selection of excellent food and wines.

My husband and I spent a wonderful long weekend following a busy conference in Cape Town. The hotel was delightfully situated with stunning views and immaculate gardens. The quality and cleanliness of the accommodation was excellent; we stayed in a wonderful suite (210) with a private pool. We enjoyed great food and excellent service throughout our stay. The shuttle in to town was appreciated. We will definitely return to this lovely hotel !
