Countryside hotel in the middle of nowhere. Stayed here because of Tesla destination charger. Arrived late 21.30 and went into the restaurant to ask if we could buy some drinks/ tea or coffee. The staff was not welcoming and said they were closed. I then asked if I could make just 3 cups of tea from the machine and take to my room. She gave me an evil eye and was clearly annoyed for me to buy 2 cups of tea - paid 8 euros for them. It was still 2 people eating in the restaurant so a request for some tea should have not been a problem. The rooms were boiling hot! No air conditioning and despite the mosquito net installed in the window it was still bugs there. The next morning we tried the fitness room….probably made in the early 90s, even a CD tower in the corner. Nostalgic not, some new equipments were a plus. No coffee/tea making kettles in the rooms. The breakfast was ok, good variety of food, but the service was appalling. My daughters were given the evil eye when they made waffles and basically told of for not doing it the right way.The only nice staff member in the hotel was the front office manager, a younger man.

Lovely hotel. Clean, large family room and friendly staff. Learned quite a bit about the history of Stemmen. Lovely breakfast and evening meal. Had schnitzel - good portions and delicious. Nice countryside for an after-dinner walk. Would return to this hotel.

A nice hotel a bit further from the motorway than expected. It is a big place with good (free) parking possibilities. The room was ok size for a family of 4 with a sofa bed and a large bed. Not very modern but very clean and nice. A rather small breakfast was included in the price. Not the biggest variety for being a german hotel but fare enough to fill the stomache for a long drive. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Schönes Hotel, aber das Frühstück könnte reichhaltiger sein. Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer zur Restaurantseite, wodurch es abends laut war. Außerdem konnte man das Badezimmerfenster nicht abdunkeln. Grundsätzlich ist es aber sauber und die Zimmer sind schön.

UN hotel vraiment charmant, le personnel est agréable, et notre jolie chambre donnait sur la verdure. Le cadre ,autour de l hotel est reposant (joli village) le petit déjeuner, comme le diner offre beaucoup de choix et c est très bon. je reviendrais volontiers.
