We loved our stay here for valentines night. It was a shame it rained so we couldn’t go on the game drive or use the amazing swimming pool. We would definitely come back.

The Cradle Hotel was the highlight of my trip! Walking in the front entrance, you are met by a stunning view of the park and its mountains.There is nothing like sitting, eating and drinking to this magnificent scene. We stayed in the executive rooms and they are gorgeous - beautifully styled, extra extra spacious! We enjoyed the quiet tranquility of the park and loved seeing monkeys and impalas as we walked to their fresh water pool (you swim with fish and frogs) from our rooms. We did the 4 hour game drive which included a snack stop. The views of the park was spectacular. We couldn’t ask for a better tour guide than Grant who showed and taught us so much about the animals that live there, the geology and history of the region and its amazing palaeontology discoveries (both past and ongoing)! You cannot help but feel changed from the experience. The staff were all so happy, friendly and helpful. This is a must to visit and stay - for at least 2 days! I was there only for 1 😢 and wished I had one more night to just be present with surrounds (and to check out their spa)!

A truly amazing experience of being so close to nature especially with the location of the suites plus being part of a world heritage site. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding with a great view of the reserve and occasional visitors nearby for you to view such as antelope and warthogs. The human origins tour and the game drive are highly recommended. Truly excellent stay from start to finish.

Awesome property and venue , went to the restuarant many years ago and have always been intrigued by the place, the staff were awesome and the setting is very beautiful, the units are a little close together and the light switching and noisy extractor fan is very irritating but looking beyond that it was a wonderful treat, the swimming pool is an absolute must
