The food was excellent. The living spaces were spacious and well kept. The couple that runs the place is extremely friendly and easy to be around. It's a really affordable place to stay if you're looking for a good place to stay in Soldotna.

Bed was great! Breakfast was even better. My husband had to have her yummy French Toast every day after sampling it! Helpful to the max to make our stay pleasant. Had to drag my husband out of the river for some sight seeing with the car they provided

I spent almost one week at Southern Bluff B+B in Soldotna Alaska. I did not want to leave. John and Shirley were wonderful people !! I was treated like family rather than just a client. Shirley was gracious and accommodating to my needs. Shirley made a terrific breakfast every morning. My room and bathroom were extremely clean and neat. Very quiet and peaceful. John and Shirley were very knowledgeable of the area and willing to share their knowledge. They went out of their way to make my stay the best it could be. I have nothing negative to say ! I will be returning to Southern Bluff B+B next year. John and Shirley left a great impression on me. Thank you !!! Cristina

We hold the honor of being the very first guests at Southern Bluff Bed & Breakfast five years ago, and every year since, Because of the great experience and hospitality we received from Shirley and John, we have returned to Alaska every year since, and stay exclusively at this wonderful bed and breakfast. We could not recommend Southern Bluff Bed & Breakfast more enthusiastically, and we look forward every July to making this trip, knowing that our accommodations will be the absolute top-notch, highest quality. While the facility is beautiful, the hospitality is unparalleled, from the exceptional breakfast to the knowledge that we will be welcome friends each visit.
