Stevenage North

I recently stayed here for seven nights due to my daughter being very unwell and so I wanted to stay close to the hospital and I’m so glad I chose to stay here ☺️. Obviously, this was a very hard time for me, but all I can say is that the hotel made it a lot easier staying away from my own home during this stressful time . All of the staff were always so welcoming and friendly, and they even checked in on me to ask how I’m doing and my daughter if they saw me coming back from the hospital upset or stressed. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and helpful and no complaints with the food after myself and friends joined me in their restaurant a few times during hospital breaks. I can’t thank Tara and her team enough for making my stay as best as it could be during my stressful time. Highly recommend it and the manager Tara clearly knows what they are doing along with all of the amazing staff. A massive thank you to everyone for being so kind to me when I needed it. This was booked as I needed somewhere close to the hospital so just wanted it to be clean and comfortable and I was not disappointed. The room was clean, shower was great and tea/coffee was there in abundance and I could take more from reception when needed. Sharon greeted us on arrival and she was so friendly and helpful, along with Tara they made a horrible trip much nicer for me whilst I waited for my husband to I come out of hospital. Bed was comfy and extra pillows were there if required. Wifi is ok, I paid for the 'ultimate' wifi but I do feel £5 for 24 hours was a bit steep as I was there for 3 nights and the last night it wouldn't work. The parking is really good, no issues at all. Food was disappointing, I paid £10.99 for the breakfast, it was ok but for me I felt it was expensive for what I ate, maybe if you eat a lot then you'd feel like you get your money's worth. Sadly the evening meal choice was very limited, I had mac and cheese, it was bland and again overpriced for what I got. This hotel is perfect for what I needed though, close to the hospital and a Sainsburys in walking distance. All in all I would say that the staff make this hotel, Sharon and Tara made my time so much nicer and I honestly can't praise them enough. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again if needed.

Had a lovely stay at the premier inn north, the room was lovely and clean and very spacious , the staff were friendly and the bed was comfy. The towels are also a decent size which is good . I Will definitely be coming back to stay again in the future .

Excellent service from staff Excellent breakfast freshly prepared to order Room large and very clean Hotel beautifully decorated for Xmas All this made up for the need of renovation and the tired looking restaurant that is being sold off. Location great. Will stay again. Well done to the staff

Great staff and super attentive. Room was clean and tuday. An iron board and iron were dropped at out room door. Breakfast was hot and freshly cooked. All in all the weekend staying at this hotel was great. Would highly recommend and certainly be staying next time I am in Stevenage. Thanks

My husband and I stayed at the Premier Inn when visiting family in the area recently. This hotel was ideally located for where family live and also for getting in and out of the town centre. The room was large, very comfortable and clean. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again!
