We made a two-night stop in Steyr, as a base for visiting nearby sites such as Melk Abbey and Mauthausen concentration camp. We found the town to be charming, lots of cute shops. This hotel is at the center of the altstadt. Rooms were nice, breakfast was very good, all in all we would recommend!

Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Von der Reservierung bis zum auschecken. Ein tolles Haus und ganz WICHTIG, ganz tolle Mitarbeiter.Die Küche ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Einfach super Unsere Empfehlung. Gerne immer wieder.

Bin des Öfteren in dem Hotel geschäftlich. Es liegt im Stadtkern Steyr, die durchaus für ein Spaziergang geeignet ist. Diesmal habe ich die Suite bekommen. Einfach klasse 😀. Hotelzimmer sauber u d riesig. Frühstück ist top mit viel Auswahl.

Summa summarum: ausgesprochen schönes, altes Städtchen mit viel historischer, authentischer Bausubstanz, interessantes, gepflegtes, sehr altes Hotel in zentraler Lage mit guten, preiswerten, charmanten, ausreichend komfortablen Zimmern, aber dazu eine durch und durch mittelmäßige Gastronomie in nur bedingt romantisch-heimeligen Abfütterungsräumlichkeiten mit mal gutem, mal sehr viel weniger gutem Servicepersonal, dafür aber keine Pauschaltouristen, überhaupt wenig Fremde, aber mit garantiertem Kontakt zur kompletten Steyrer haute volée, die hier verkehrt. Wegen der Küche auch nur 2 Sterne in der Gesamtwertung, nur das Hotel hätte 3 verdient.

Wir waren auf einer Hochzeit in Steyr und haben im Hotel Mader übernachtet. Es war wirklich toll. Wir hatten ein schönes neu renoviertes Zimmer. Das Hotel ist mitten in der Altstadt und man kann den wundervollen historischen Flair überall fühlen. Das Catering auf der Hochzeit wurde ebenfalls vom Mader durchgeführt und auch dort war das Service perfekt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hotel schon ewig bekannt. Nach den Erinnerungen hat sich nicht viel getan. Zimmer sind renovierungsbedürftig. Leider ist alles verwinkelt und verbaut. Teils ist dies charmant und schön, aber leider nicht alles. Büffet im Flur wo auch normale Gasthausbesucher sich tummeln. Keine direkte Parkplätze am Haus bzw. werden die beiden möglichen nicht gerne vergeben (zurecht).

Tolles Hotel mitten in der Stadt Steyr. Frühstück ist vielfältig und die Zimmer sauber. In dem Restaurant Mader könnte die vegane/vegetarische Auswahl etwas besser sein. Parkmöglichkeiten eher an der Enns ab 18:00Uhr kostenlos bis 08:00Uhr morgens.
