Very clean, but quiet basis sleeping area. However, we had a great accessible room with a modern large bathroom with adaptations all in the right places. Friendly helpful staff. The breakfast offered a Good selection of hot food and fruit and cereals. Endless coffee from the coffee machine and a good selection of tea. We couldn’t give it five only due to the parking. This is on a first come first serve basis with very few spaces. Even booking an accessible room does not guarantee one of the two disabled spaces as the hotel can not police the shared parking area. They have their spaces labelled but again they have no way of policing this. So perfect if you are travelling via bus or train as it is just a couple of minutes to Stockport Interchange. Simone from breakfast room was so friendly and helpful All reception staff were really good.

Travelodge is one of the best hotels in Stockport area that I have ever been. It is very comfortable, clean, stuffs are friendly, always have a smile in their face & amazing. I really enjoyed my stay here, I would have loved to stay longer however the prices went a bit high on Saturday. I’ll give it a 5 star hotel.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Stockport Travelodge. Certain members of staff made our stay here, such as Sarah and Alex. There was no job too big or small. We could tell that they took extra care with the food unlike other members of staff who were probably not trained. I would also like to mention Simone on the breakfast shift who was amazing with her customer service and last minute cooking skills. Other members of staff ie night time staff had no interest in using their customer service skills at all and through no fault of their own, the food was not great as there is obviously not a specific chef cooking in the kitchen, just the front of house staff. As a hospitality worker myself, I can understand that FOH staff cannot undertake them responsibilities as well as BOH.

this trip wasn’t just a ordinary trip. i came here due to being homeless and had no where to go. The staff here i can not thank enough especially Rebecca and Maria ( reception and breakfast ) there was also a lady with braids however I didn’t get her name , everyday they would go above and beyond making sure me and my child was safe comfortable and know we could go to them about anything. They would interact with my child and made her smile which made me feel more comfortable throughout the stay. The room was beautiful even though it is just a hotel room it wasn’t hard to stay in there week by week living. we had to move once because you can only be in a room 28 days , with me also working the timing was hard so the staff moved us for me. all just laid out exactly how I had it in the other room and they was always prepared to help with things like extra towels daily, hoovering when I requested or the bed change when I requested it never seemed a bother to them. so thank you to all the staff here at the travel lodge you made my hard experience a little nicer🤍

We stayed for 3 nights in one of the accessible rooms. The room was a good size and the wheelchair fitted in well. Bathroom was also good however the shower seat was a little high. At check in Sarah was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for her. She was respectful and polite as she asked the questions to the guest who needed the accessible room. We booked breakfast and Simone the host was lovely. She explained about the hot drinks and toaster! If you stay here you too will learn about the toaster!!!! She was chatty and polite but also on hand if needed. We used the on site restaurant once and the food was nice and fairly priced. Soft drinks are sold in cans which are a bit pricy. Overall a nice stay with good links to buses and trains.
