3-Star Hotels in Stockport

I haven't even checked in or been to the hotel. I called to ask for a late check out and got a load of abuse from a really aggressive man called Horsen or Hussain or something. I told him I didnt like his tone aonhe replied ”well if you dont like my attitude or our conditions you shouldn't have made the booking in the first place”, I asked to speak with a manager to which he replied ”I am the manager so its tough”, I said that I was going to proceed in making a complaint to expedia about this to which he said ”its a non refundable reservation so your loss really”, I said that I would pop by the hotel the next day to talk about it in person to which he replied ”if you come through the doors I will call the police we dont want business of people like you that threatens to complain and give a bad review”. I think they are struggling, Gordon Ramsey its time to step in I think. OMG do not reserve here. I am trying to get a refund.

We stayed here 1 night after flying into Manchester airport late. The GPS took us to the hotel, but we could not find out how to get into the hotel. So frustrating. There is a taxi rank outside which serves the railway station opposite, and the hotel. No where to pull up and offload luggage. No hotel parking either. At 11:00 pm, after an international flight, this was the last thing we needed. Finally, we learned we had to park in the multi-story parking lot, and drag our luggage across to the hotel. Once we were in the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff. Our room was lovely, and bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. I have food sensitivity issues, and the manager at breakfast was very helpful in guiding me as to what I could and couldn't eat. Food was good. Nice experience despite initial confusion.

Not too bad for a 2 night stay. Hotel was clean, room was quite small, but warm and had ironing facilities and tea/coffee amenities. Old hotel but kept well. Staff were friendly. Show in room 28 had absolutely no pressure. Reported the matter but nobody came to sort it out. Room was not cleaned. Later saw a notice saying the rooms are only cleaned upon request. Well, that’s about it. Oh yeah! Nice fireplace in front of reception and bus stop just outside.

Excellent overnight stay. Gemma on reception was extremely helpful advising on travel options for the quickest route into Manchester and giving me a cup of tea whilst I waited for my partner. Comfortable quiet room and the usual good PI breakfast with more friendly and helpful team in the breakfast room.

There is no breakfast, but there is a family room with 3 beds, suitable for families, free parking, his family's steak package is particularly affordable, a large plate of 10 pounds, one can not eat at all, the only disadvantage is that there is no air conditioning, a bit stuffy

I have stayed three times at this Premier Inn and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My daughter is a wheelchair user and Mark on reception remembers her and goes out of his way to make sure her stay is good and all her needs are met. Thank you Mark. Often as a young adult with a disability she feels invisible yet each time we have come to stay she’s felt that actually she’s important and really enjoyed her stay
