What a hidden gem in Stone Town! We stayed there for three nights and it was fabulous. Breakfast was 5-star; the hotel was kept very clean. We had a flight changed as soon as we booked in, and the manager and his staff went above and beyond what was expected to help us out. It was a real help. Even when we were leaving at the end of our stay, the taxi driver we had booked didn't turn up, so yet again we owe the staff as one of them phoned someone he knew to take us. So yes, what a hotel and fantastic staff!

Lovely hotel located in a historic building - former home of a princess - in Stone Town - short walk from the ferry and to other attractions in town. The staff were amazing! One even accompanied me to help find a lost wallet and we found it ! The pool offered a relaxing way to end the day.

The breakfast is delicious, the hotel is great and they organize my tours in Stone town they even find a guide in spanish . This hotel was affordable and great for taken trips to Nakupenda and prison island. Kholle house has good reception of wifi. I arrive at 3 am of the morning they were waiting for me and they gave me a nice room to rest.

We had a fantastic stay at this small, beautiful, tastefully decorated hotel. The pool area was peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful staff. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely stay there again

Lovely hotel in perfect location close to ferry and walking distance to all stone town restaurants. Amazing staff and beautiful rooms and decor with a lovely courtyard with pool. Will definitely return for the comfy rooms and amazing spirit.

The location of this property in Stone Town is brilliant and you could really sense the history of the property and the town. The excursions on offer to really help you get under the skin of the town were great and the room, pool, food and staff were ace and really made our stay.
