We spent 2 nights at Arduthie house and it was everything we needed. This lovely bed and breakfast in Stonehaven is stylish, comfy and felt like a home away from home. Our room was spotless and the mattress was so comfortable. On top of that, breakfast was excellent and the young woman working in the cafe couldn't have been nicer. We liked it so much we will be back.

Excellent location to explore Donnottar Castle --- actualy can walk. Comfortable and clean room and very quiet. Use of a very comfortable living room on the second floor and since there was only 1 other couple staying we had it to ourselves. Only complaint was that the breakfast was supplied by the attached restaurant and therefore the options were menu items, all heavy and cooked (except for a yogurt/granola cup). We are very much the continental breakfast light eaters and the lack of that option was disappointing. Otherwise nice stay.

I came up to Stonehaven for the annual beer festival. This was the only place left that had a room. Initially, I was hesitant, but on arrival, I was greeted with a fabulous warm welcome. The room was clean,spacious, and had an amazing sea view. The location is very central to the town centre and station. The breakfast was delicious, and both the staff and owner were extremely attentive. I would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending this guest house to both my family and friends. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

Arduthie House was my favorite stay in my month-long trip around Scotland. It's such a lovely house - gorgeous, actually, and staying here is both a small and personal, yet private experience. Best of all worlds. Very comfy, spotless rooms. My view of the sea and harbor over rooftops was beautiful! And the garden makes you want to spend time there. Close to everything by walking. Great location for visiting the central coastal area - Aberdeenshire and Fife - and especially Dunnottar Castle. I LOVED this place. They get the Best Coffee in a B&B award from me. Great breakfasts, cooked really well and the hosts, Rod and Leslie, are very friendly and informative. Rod gave us a little map of the town and pointed out interesting spots to have dinner and local beers. Very helpful. I'd love to come back and stay longer to visit the area from this perfect spot! We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed it. The room was bright, clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower was first class with a lovely heated towel rail. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Parking is on the street which wasn’t an issue. There are plenty of places to eat locally and Stonehaven is a lovely town. The train station is within walking distance and Aberdeen is definitely worth a visit. We would love to stay here again.

Lovely, homely, very clean guest house with the nicest hosts. They really went above and beyond! Our room had a lovely sea view and great water pressure (a must have!). Very good price and breakfast is included, which was lovely. Accommodations for different dietary requirements was greatly appreciated. Will be staying here every time I travel to Stonehaven from now on!

Lovely bed and breakfast, great location, nice hosts. Spacious room and bathroom with very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast room and good choice of breakfast. Parking is on street but we had no trouble getting a spot outside in all our comings and goings

We stayed here for a two nights when celebrating our first anniversary and it was excellent. It was conveniently located near the town centre and easy to find. We received a very warm welcome. The house was beautiful and our spacious room had an incredible sea view. The vegetarian breakfast was great and the staff always helpful and friendly. They even let us spend a few hours after checking out in the guest lounge to hide from the rain. Overall the stay was excellent and if we return to Stonehaven I'd definitely look to stay there again!
