Lovely b&b. Very clean and good size room. Margo was really lovely and helpful when we kept getting lost!. Excellent breakfast and plenty to keep us going all day. Would recommend to anyone of any age. Outdoor gardens are lovely, very tidy, nice to sit out when the weather is god.

A friendly welcome was appreciated. Margo is an extremely pleasant host. Accommodation was excellent and is located in a beautiful area. Breakfast was lovely. Close to Strathaven (approximately 5 minutes by car). We certainly will be returning soon.

A beautiful, big rooms but the smell from the bedsheets was overwhelming!!! It wasn't a bad/awful smell but got right on my nerves! It was an over powering smell and really got on my wick. The breakfast was good.

A warm welcome. Clean, fresh and such a lovely room and fab bathroom. Bed was perfect and I spent a nice half hour chatting with two lovely Canadian guests sitting in the early evening sunshine whilst enjoying the peace and beautiful view. Already booked for my return halfway stay from Inverness back home to Derbyshire in a few days!

We have just returned from a holiday in Scotland where we have stayed at several B&Bs and visited a number of Houses and Gardens which equips us with comparisons for reviews. We stayed at Bamflatt Farm in order to visit the Burrell Collection in Glasgow. This did not start well because when we arrived there was no-one to welcome us. We had to telephone to get a code to enter a key safe. Apparently we had been sent an email in the morning asking for a mobile number in order to text us this information. So access proved to be very difficult. Eventually we got into the room which was very clean and comfortable with a view. Someone arrived and did not offer any apology or welcome but just dealt with the practicalities of breakfast. We did receive an apology from presumably the owner at breakfast but by then the damage was done. Perhaps the highlight of this stay was a visit to the local village which had a Chinese Restaurant in the pub at Glassford. Breakfast was like visiting a service station. Inhospitable but efficient if basic. We would not visit this place again.

It's a bit like a factory. Large, very clean room and bathroom. Impersonal service, efficient but quite cold. Breakfast OK but cooked with fairly ordinary products... we have had better in Scotland. Very quiet location in the middle of fields, beautiful view.

A comfortable B&B in an idyllic location. The hostess is extremely friendly and helpful, with a good sense of humor. We have felt at home from moment 1. In addition to the great traditional decor (royal beds) and clean rooms, in the morning you can enjoy a delicious freshly prepared breakfast.
