Having stayed several times with family at Ibis Styles Stade de la Meinau to visit another family member in the area, I can say that this hotel offers a consistently good experience. Staff are always welcoming and helpful. Their assistance was especially appreciated when I became unwell during one of our stays; they provided support and care. The hotel is clean, rooms are reasonably sized and beds comfortable. Bathrooms and showers are in good condition. I always miss having a kettle/coffee maker in the room but there is one in the reception area. The main foyer/reception/breakfast and bar area is brightly decorated with a football theme, a nod to the Meinau stadium nearby. Breakfast is basic but good and all self service as you’d expect (yogurts, fruit, pastries, bread, cheese, ham, eggs etc) . Again the staff here are attentive and helpful. The underground car park was useful (extra charge applies) and we left our car there for the whole stay as there’s a tram stop 5-10 minutes walk away, from where regular trams go to Strasbourg city centre, a 15 minute journey. Overall, this hotel provides a reliable, welcoming and comfortable stay.

ibis styles hotel where I am staying for the first time in this style of hotel. very welcoming staff, small room but it seems in this type of hotel. on the other hand no sound insulation which means that you hear the tram and the cars which circulate on avenue de colmar. Decent breakfast but does not look at all like the photos on their site

We before stay 4 days with my husband in this hotel, clean hotel, clean room, breakfast not very provided but of very good quality so it's okay. Very kind staff and always attentive. Except once, one evening it was midnight we wanted to enter the hotel everything was off and there was no one there, so we rang and after 5 minutes no one answered, we decided to insist and after 3 attempts the man answered aggressively telling us "it's going well once eh" We found it not professional at all and my husband is allowed to answer him. Only small downside but otherwise nothing to complain about. Close to amenities, it is perfect for visiting the city.

Everything was perfect. Impeccable room. Comfortable bed. Well soundproofed room. Decent breakfast. Good value for money. Good welcome. The only downside is no restaurants nearby. We were recommended the restaurant Le Cannibale because it is quite close but I advise against it being overpriced and apparently I suppose "the manager" makes differences between his customers and the dishes offered are not the same depending on who we are. We were not given the menu, leading us to assume that there were only meat dishes with certainly good origins but exorbitant prices on the table. Lots of restaurant choices in the historic center

What a desappointment ! Cold welcome, without a smile... I do not recommend the restaurant and the breakfast. It's very expensive for what it is, very little choice at breakfast and evening menu (in this case I had a burger which arrived without accompaniment, quite rare I think), you will eat better elsewhere :) Very surprising for an Ibis Style...
