The hotel offers a garage for €30 per night, but I strongly advise against it for people with a large car: we had a lot of trouble getting through the garage door. Finally, breakfast was not included in our reservation, and it was necessary to add €17 per person, which may be an additional cost to expect. Overall, a well-located hotel, but with some drawbacks to consider before booking."

They allowed us to securely store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out, which made our trip so much more convenient. Another highlight was the delicious breakfast, which was fresh, varied, and reasonably priced—a great start to the day. Overall, Hôtel Couvent du Franciscain Centre Ville offers great value for money, excellent service, and a prime location. "We were in Strasbourg for 4 days and were very impressed. The welcome at the hotel was very warm. Everything was explained in a very friendly manner (city map/parking/sights, etc.) The room was fine, clean and charmingly furnished. There is a kettle so you can make coffee or tea at any time. The bathroom is very modern and clean. Small note: we were missing a power socket here. The breakfast buffet is very extensive. We would particularly like to praise the extremely friendly, multilingual staff at the reception and at the breakfast buffet. That is no longer a given these days. Otherwise, the hotel is relatively central to the sights. You don't need a car or public transport. Conclusion: Everything was to our complete satisfaction and we would recommend the hotel without hesitation"

"The location is quite good. In a calm area and just 20 minutes to the center by public transportation. There is Super U supermarket nearby so it’s very convenient. The room was clean. Staff was friendly. However they could improve by providing bottle of water in the room which is an usual practise in every hotel. There wasn’t fridge inside the room. The bed was comfortable but the pillow was quite hard and thick. I had pain in my neck the day after. Anyway was good overall"
