Theresa made us feel at home with her attentiveness and cheer during our three-night stay at Rosehurst. It was obvious that the other guests enjoyed her presence as much as we did. Her breakfasts combined gastronomy, gardening, nutrition, and art. The location can’t be beat: Stratford’s shops, restaurants, and theaters are no more than a 10-minute stroll in any direction.

Such a lovely place! Theresa is a very friendly host and cooks a delicious breakfast with lots of local produce (including from the garden)! This was our second stay and we would definitely return again.

It's been a year since our wonderful stay at the Rosehurst. Forgive my late review. It was our daughter's wedding weekend in Stratford and Theresa's beautiful house and caring hospitality made it even more special. Her food was delicious and such a real treat. The house enveloped us in hospitality and provided a restful oasis of beauty and warmth in the midst of a busy weekend. Theresa was a delight to communicate with and the perfect host. Looking forward to returning to Rosehurst again!

Rosehurst was the perfect home away from home while my partner and I visited Stratford with friends. Our room was clean, cozy, and included a private balcony! We spent our first evening in the backyard admiring the beautiful garden and enjoying some great conversation around the gas fire pit. We also got a visit from a friendly neighbourhood kitty and plenty of fireflies. It was my first time in Stratford and thanks to Theresa, my expectations were exceeded! She had all the best recommendations for food, shopping, and activities in town. Over the weekend we ate at Balzac’s, Braii House, el Cactus Taco Shop, and Old Man Breakfast. Although, if you’re looking for delicious food, look no further than the kitchen at Rosehurst. Theresa made some incredible treats for us — fresh homemade blondies, granola for yogurt parfaits, marshmallows (yeah that’s right — homemade marshmallows!) and 2 loaves of sourdough for guests to enjoy! Overall, Rosehurst was the perfect choice! It’s in a super convenient location. Only a short distance to the theatre where we saw Chicago, and maybe a 10 minute walk to the heart of the action in town. Beautiful property with a clean and homey atmosphere in addition to a knowledgeable and hospitable host. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back!

I stopped here to break up a long road trip. It was easy to find near downtown Stratford. The room was cozy, comfortable and very quiet. I can imagine the garden has a nice view and there is a private porch, but alas I couldn't appreciate it on a winter night. Just what I needed to rest up for my drive home!

Inn at Rosehurst is an old favorite and this year we were able to return after several years. The new owner (new to us) hasn't missed a beat and has even made some upgrades. Theresa is very welcoming and accommodating, her food is delicious, and the house and rooms are comfortable, charming, and super clean (of course). We are looking forward to returning next year.

This was my second year staying at the Rosehurst and I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The rooms, the beds, the food, the hospitality are all top notch. Theresa, the owner, is so considerate and gracious. The breakfasts are creative, truly memorable and very yummy - showing off Theresa's great cooking skills. There is a peaceful backyard - terrific for relaxing. The location is excellent, especially for plays at the Festival Theatre.

The location is excellent, just a short walk to the theatres and restaurants. In other respects, our experience fell short of our expectations, based on years of experience at other B and B's in Stratford and elsewhere. The room was cramped with little storage space. There was a closet with a good number of hangers, but the floor space, where we would normally place our shoes and bags, was occupied by an old chest of drawers. Perhaps the other rooms are nicer; certainly the pictures look much nicer than the room we stayed in. The two breakfasts we had were not satisfying -- spreads and crackers in our room on the first morning, lukewarm oatmeal with a few toppings on the second. We had been assured that my husband's vegan diet could be accommodated, but it seemed to have been a strain for the host. Subsequently we simply had breakfast in a coffee shop.

I’ve been coming to the Stratford Festival for almost fifty years and the Rosehurst is my favorite of all the places I’ve stayed. Therese has created a warm and welcoming environment. The rooms are comfortable and charming. Proximity to the theaters is great. There’s a lovely yard and garden where guests are welcome to relax. Therese serves gourmet breakfasts that you won’t get anywhere else. The breakfast table conversations are lively and interesting. I’ll be back every summer!
