We loved this unit for its location, furnishings and amenities. It was spotless and check in was easy. Everything was less than a 10 minute walk away. The only problem is if your bedroom is facing Downie Street you will hear drunken yelling until 2am. On weekends the patio and sidewalk are crowded with very intoxicated people screaming at each other. Gilly's management needs to do better

The posh downtown suite (#3) in which we stayed has 2 bedrooms separated by a kitchen and a spacious living room. The ceilings are sooo high! Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a shower. The Avon theatre is across the street. The Festival theatre is a short 5-10 block walk away. Please note: if you select room #3, the luxury 2 br, you'll need to be able to climb a goodly flight of stairs. The paint is peeling on the stairs, but the suite looked to be recently remodeled. And there are ample dining options within a few blocks!
