Terrific stop over, well prepared staff to make a pleasent evening, Excellent food, well cooked and traditional, and the atmosphere was just as good . Just sitting here relaxing now in the tandoori restaurant with a few drinks before retiring

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was large and really comfortable and the decor is lovely. The hotel is a little out of the centre of town so it is very quiet. The staff were extremely helpful which was further evidenced on our departure. We left some items behind and the staff mailed these items back to us quickly. We would definitely return.

Everything about the hotel was great - a very comfortable room, the restaurant served excellent food and the staff were both welcoming and helpful. The location was good for Stratford with the town centre only a 20 minute walk away. Will definitely return

Second stay at this lovely hotel. Really enjoyed it again too! Great staff, beautiful rooms which are exceptionally clean and comfortable. The restaurant serves up a lovely breakfast and tasty evening meals. A 25 minute walk into Stratford Upon Avon makes it the perfect location for a mini break !

Excellent stay for 6 people on Christmas day/night including Christmas Dinner. All 3 rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Wide choice for breakfast which was well presented and tasty. The staff were friendly and helpful and would definitely stay again and no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

If possible I think it's good to write a review whilst still here, so as its Boxing day and we have stayed on the Christmas package here goes the review. We are staying for 3 nights on the full Christmas package, we stayed here previously in the summer of 2023 and it has improved on what was already an exemplary experience. The service is superb, Minty welcomed us like family and made us feel immediately welcome, the service throughout is first class from Navneet who serves with a wonderful smile to Valentina who seems to do most things and is superb with guests, all of the staff are brilliant and friendly. The food you just cannot fault, it matters not what you order as whatever it is the chefs produce excellent food..from breakfast to Christmas dinner to steak meals and superb Indian food it is top class. Nothing is too much trouble for the Burnside. The location is perfect for Stratford as via the lane is a very short 15 minute walk, we did it each day and it is so convenient to be out of the hustle and bustle but so easily accessible. The parking feels so secure and gives you complete peace of mind that you can pretty much leave the car until you go home. The addition of the attached new bar next door ( The cask and Tandoor ) is such a good bonus with a lovely vibe. As with the hotel everything is immaculately clean and welcoming. Summarising overall I think the Christmas package is unbeatable but in any case at any time of year The Burnside would be the number 1 choice. Thank you Minty and team.

Very nice, two night stay at this lovely hotel just outside Stratford. Very well appointed, very well stocked bar for a small hotel and very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely stay again when next in the area. Only minus point was having to pay £5 a night to park in the empty hotel car park. Can't remember ever being charged when staying as a hotel guest before

Stayed for 3 nights the room was lovely couldn’t fault it although the heating was a little iffy radiator not working had to hunt down a member of staff, after half hour it was up and running and then every day there after the same problem. Nice shower room with fluffy towels and a warm towel radiator the shower was an over head with a wand and powerful, although it could of used a clean as the grout was going black with mould, sadly it’s the attention to detail that let it down. Not sure why it’s necessary to charge £5 parking I was the only car there anything to make a buck I guess. As a guest of yours and having paid quite a considerable sum it was totally unnecessary. Breakfast was a major disappointment no cereals or yogurt fruit all the things you would find in a nice B&B were sadly lacking, I ordered the omelette it appeared on its own on a large plate sitting there lost no garnish this yellow green thing folded in half sad doesn’t cover it.
