Beds were comfortable, sink/shower water pressure was good, quiet location. There was a note that said to use the thermostat on the wall but it didn't work and woke up to a very cold room - it was actually the thermostat on the heater that worked. Complimentary water is provided in the lobby. Parking lot only had one spot left when we got there.

Lots of food in the local area. Not too far from the DWG National Recreation Area. Good for bigger kids. Clean and comfortable beds.

This place is an amazing location for my short stay of four days. But it was just amazing after a long flight to walk into a hotel and be greeted by such a welcoming individual.The rooms were immaculate . I would like to take a moment to acknowledge your employees each and everyone of them for maintaining the hotel from the amazing woman that greeted you in the morning and set up that amazing continental breakfast to everyone who maintained your room clean and checked everyday to make sure that you had enough towels. On my last day I ran into a young couple who was checking in and I just had to tell them that they did the right choice on staying at Penn Stroud. This is by far the best hotel near here and yes I have stayed in many in Pa. Thank you all for your serve and the pride that each and everyone of you did in your working capacity.❤️👏👏
