Hampton Inn & Suites Stuart-North

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly, the food was below par, cold eggs and potato's, only fresh coffee in the morning, the rest of the day it became stale.

The location of the hotel was very convenient to what we were doing in Stuart, Fl. Our check in was less than stellar. When we got there, the hotel clerk insisted that we did not have a reservation. She told us that our reservation number was not from that hotel. She later admitted that she had typed my name incorrectly and switched my last name and first name. I think her name was Nancy. The room had not been completely cleaned. My wife and I found half eaten crackers in the nightstand drawer next to the Bible. Picture attached. The towels that were offered at the front desk for use at the pool, were so thin and flimsy that you could see right through them. Each person needed at least 4 towels to dry themselves off. As a Hilton honors member, I was very disappointed with the level of service offered by the Hampton Inn hotel and suites.

Great stay! Super friendly staff! Perfect breakfast. The snack store was also great, cause I needed some snacks for the nighttime munchies.

Overall, I would only recommend this hotel for the convenient location and free parking. It looks nice from the outside, but the room did not match the updated outside. It looked outdated and worn. The bathroom door did not close all the way, which was pretty inconvenient, and the shower was very narrow with a metal bar in the middle that I kept hitting my arm on. There was an adjoining door to another room that also seemed to not close fully and made me feel a little unsafe. The carpet seemed so worn that I didn't feel comfortable walking on it barefoot. Lastly, I came here directly from the airport and I checked in an hour before check in time. They charged me $56 for this, which I understand there are check in times, but if the room is ready and the guest shows up only one hour early, I think this could be waived as a courtesy, especially with the state of the rooms.
