I never write negative reviews but in this case, I felt I must. Although the hosts tried hard and were friendly, the chateaux was nothing like represented in the photos, which must have been taken many years ago. The place is in need of fixing up—uncomfortable(!) bed, breakfast of stale bread, musty. No shower (as depicted). I cannot advise anyone to stay here, but am writing mostly because it of the misleading advertising. Also hugely overpriced. A true case of buyer beware.

Le château est très joli, plein de charme. Il n’a pas été dénaturé. Coup de cœur pour les sols. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par la propriétaire souriante et chaleureuse. On sent qu’elle aime les gens. Nous avons passé un très bon moment avec 2 de nos filles.

Le lieu est magnifique la château romantique, et le parc magnifique. l’accueil de notre hôtesse est très attentionné. Le petit déjeuner copieux servi dans un joli salon. Un week-end en amoureux, pour se ressourcer au plus près des châteaux de la Loire.

Das Chateau de la Rue ist eine sehr familiäres Hotel mit herrlichem Ambiente. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig mit antiken Möbeln ausgestattet und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück im Salon oder auf der Terrasse im schönen Garten ist lecker mit selbstgemachter Marmelade und sehr französisch. Der Aufenthalt ist sehr angenehm in den großzügigen Räumen (Salon, Flügelzimmer) oder im Schlossgarten mit Gewächshaus, Rosen und schönem Pool. Es ist sehr ruhig, erholsam und hat einen sehr authentischen Charme. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und sorgt dafür, dass man sich ganz schnell wie bei Freunden zu Hause fühlt. Ein wunderbarer Ort für Fahrradausflüge entlang der Loire, wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Meravigliosa dimora di charme in campagna nella Valle della Loira. Ogni angolo e’ pura poesia Arredi curati nei dettagli colori accostamenti….tendaggi sedie copriletti tutto in armonia …. Entri e ti senti catapultato in un romanzo del passato. Pace, silenzio, relax. Posizione strategica per visitare Blois e i castelli vicini. La proprietaria e’ una donna squisita elegante disponibile cordiale. La deliziosa colazione servita in una sala arredata con grande gusto , stoviglie e complementi d’epoca. Per me che amo tutto cio’ che e’ vintage e sa raccontantare una storia e’ stato una favola soggiornare qui!

A éviter Madame Veronique Beau Pounit prétendument Bazin de Caix a plus de prétention que de savoir vivre Absence de confort zéro élégance que du flan. Nous ne sommes pas prêts d y retourner. C est cher pour une prestation médiocre.

Incroyable expérience ! Veronique et Juan ont été adorables, à l’écoute et d’une gentillesse inouïe. Nous nous sommes sentis accueillis comme des rois dans cette sublime demeure. Le château, décoré avec amour, a gardé toute sa splendeur et son charme atypique. La chambre (Cassandre) dans laquelle nous avons séjourné en amoureux, nous a transporté dans un univers féerique. De plus, le petit déjeuner était copieux. Bref, foncez ! Vous ne le regretterez pas !
