Outstanding hotel, excellent staff, great set up. Stayed here with a hockey team and hotel was packed with other hockey teams. Teams had rooms together, code of conduct very clear, teams also each had an assigned area to socialize, and to keep the chaos contained. Outside of these areas it was quiet and kids were able to sleep before important games. Breakfast good. Because of the way this hotel was expanded in the past, the central corridor is bright and has a real resort feel.

We were looking for a nice, clean place to stay in Summerside and came across the very positive reviews for the Cairns Motel and Sunny Isle Motel (same owner) here on TripAdvisor. The reviews were accurate! Very nice, very clean modern rooms equipped with everything you need for your stay: good sized mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, nice furniture, comfortable beds and soft bedding, 3 pillows per bed with extra soft blankets. We stayed at the Sunny Isle and the grounds are beautiful with lots of trees, many Adirondack chairs, picnic tables and a gazebo with wicker furniture. Since we are travelling for a couple of weeks, we were happy that they had a laundry room for guests. The owner was very kind and pleasant and quick to answer our questions and help us out! I highly recommend either of these motels!
