My husband planned a 5-day (4-night) vacation at this hotel. We read reviews on ***********, the hotel rating is 8.6, and there are very beautiful photos to confirm the reviews. We agreed with the manager to pay in cash at the hotel and even get a small discount. I can't say how this hotel got such a high rating. I'm attaching a photo to see the real view from the window. I think this will be enough to avoid staying at this hotel. My husband paid the full cost of 4 nights upon check-in. For obvious reasons (see photo), my husband decided to leave the hotel that same day. The manager told him that he had lost guests because of him and only returned the money for 2 nights. He also assured him that cars in the sea, stray dogs, horses and camels are normal. I definitely don't recommend Sumgait for a vacation. It's a shame we were limited in time for booking and didn't read the information about beach vacations in Azerbaijan carefully.
