A lovely warm welcome and easy check in. Romm 101 was clean and comfortable, they had decorated our room with banners and left a birthday gift for my husband which was very kind. The bar is small but cosy and you do have to wait for someone to come and serve you. We had the dining package which was well worth it. The food was nice and a drink is included in the price. We slept great and loved breakfast. The only thing that needs improving is lost property procedures. These are not in place and they should be.

Lovely comfy beds & fantastic breakfast.. with a wide varied choice to suit all. Rooms are clean and are quite spacious. I'm disabled and stayed in the family room. Plenty of room for my power chair. There is a lift to all floors, so is easily accessible to everyone. Staff are really friendly & welcoming.

The reception at Sunderland city centre Premier Inn was friendly and efficient. The room was clean, offering a good view, and had tea and coffee facilities. Wi-fi was also free. The bathroom was clean. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The cooked breakfast was merely O.K. due to the leathery quality of the bacon and the dryness of the scrambled eggs; both due to the length of time spent beneath the heat lamps. The fee for overnight parking was an eye-watering £17!

The helpfulness and willingness of the staff to go the extra mile for you. The comfortable beds and pillow were just what you needed and the staff always on hand from offering helpful information to room service. The breakfasts were good with the chef always checking the food 👌🏻 making sure the customers were happy.

All premier inn Hotels should be like this one! Went for magic weekend in Newcastle and thank god I stayed here. We parked up in the university car park and met Rhiannon and Michelle at reception where they both helped and pointed us to the direction of the car park that had the cheapest parking and only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. We asked if we could have dinner on the Friday night and breakfast on the Saturday morning and we got told about the meal deal which was both included as a 2 course meal for dinner and a drink and unlimited breakfast with unlimited drinks. On the night Ryan was so polite and friendly having a laugh and joke with him which is what ever front of house worker should be like. The room was very nice and they were very efficient with catering to our every need including a fan for the room. Just a massive shout out to Rhiannon, Michelle and of course Ryan for making our weekend even better even though our team lost at rugby. Haha.

We have just got home from a weekend away at this hotel and what can I say from the moment we got there we was greeted by Michelle and Rhiannon on reception who told us where is the best place to park. When we got back to get our key they explained in detail about the hotel, what the meal times where and about the meal deal once we went for dinner Ryan in the restaurant was amazing, he also explained about a meal upgrade which worked out cheaper! He also made sure we was all good through out even stopped to have a chat with us to get to know us as guests at the hotel. We will definitely be returning again to see the amazing Ryan Michelle and Rhiannon

Excellent service. The staff are friendly and genuinely happy to help. I was unsure of where to go for a run, so Michelle kindly told me about a lovely walk along the river front to the beach. The food and drinks meal deal was good value. Ryan worked really hard as a waiter. He seemed like a nice guy. My dippy eggs 🥚 were delicious at breakfast. I was hot in my room, so a fan was provided and air con was altered accordingly. I felt safe and secure. Thanks

Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable good location. Staff excellent. The only downside was, i went down for breakfast expecting the usual buffet, but it wasn't available. it was cook on demand. I wasn't prepared to pay buffet prices for this as i like to help myself and not wait for it to be cooked. I went elsewhere for my breakfast
