1. Our first disappointment was that "the suite" looked nothing like the picture online. For an additional €350.00, we got what we thought was a large double room with a seating area and kitchen. The double bed was in a corner, meaning there was no bedside table on one side, and sitting on the edge of the bed meant my knees were against the wall. The ceiling had large holes, and the carpet was quite dirty. When I complained to reception about the so-called suite and asked for my €350.00 back, I was told it was a suite at their hotel, the manager wasn't there, and they would forward it to him. We were given three drink vouchers as a consolation. One of the ladies also said that the trip wasn't booked directly through the hotel. 2. There was little staff in the evening; one young lady didn't even speak German or English. On the positive side, however, was the young man in the evening; he was very accommodating and polite, even though he had to work in the restaurant, at the bar, and at reception. When we wanted to pay the evening before our departure he kept telling us he didn't have time!! In the end, after several attempts, we went to bed and paid the next day. The bill had to be checked carefully because it was incorrect!! 3. The clothing of a man at reception (a hoodie) was not appropriate for a 4* hotel!!! 4. When I enquired at the end of October '24, I specifically asked whether animals were allowed in the hotel because of our animal allergy, but was told no. For the last couple of days we had the strong feeling that we had booked into a kennel. Dogs were even lying around where the guests were eating. 5. The food was positive - not exactly 4* but still plentiful and very tasty. The surroundings were very beautiful and ideal for hiking.

Wir hatten eine Juniorsuite, um uns drei schöne Tage zu machen. Betten waren gut, aber nur norm-Bettdecken, ich mag lieber größere und wir gemeinsam zusammen eine ganz große. Das Zimmer war insgesamt sehr schön, hatte sogar eine kleine Terrasse. Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig. Schränke gab es sehr viele, weil die "Juniorsuite" auch von vier Personen bewohnt werden konnte. Es gab keinen Safe. Im Bad waren zu wenige Aufhängehaken, vor allem am Waschbecken. Einer der Haken war auch noch sehr lose. Der Duschkopf war zwar heile, passte aber nicht zu der Aufnahme, so dass der Wasserstrahl sich nicht so einstellen ließ, dass er senkrecht nach unten ging. Regendusche fehlte. Eine Nachttischlampe war kaputt, wurde aber nach Reklamation sofort repariert. Frühstück und Abendessen waren nicht Spitze aber reichhaltig, gut und ohne Beanstandungen. Das Personal war bemüht. Das Hotel hat ein Schwimmbad mit einem 15-Meter-Becken. Ein sehr brauchbares Sportbecken. Mir persönlich ein klein wenig zu kalt. Die Duschen waren mit den Saunagästen zu teilen und direkt vor der Sauna-Tür - schon etwas komisch. Ein klassischer Wellness-Bereich ist das aber nicht und der ganze Schwimmbadbereich macht schon einen sanierungsbedürftigen Eindruck. Draußen könnte auch im Winter dafür gesorgt werden, dass die Mülltonnen nicht überlaufen; vielleicht könnte man eine Mülltonnen-Holzhaus erreichten und sie darin verbergen. .
