Best hotel on my roadtrip north of Sweden

Outstanding
Outstanding hotel. Rumored to be the greatest hotel in Sweden. I believe it's so. Make sure to read the history of this old but well kept building. Beautiful decor.

Beautiful hotel, close to the centre of town. We stayed in a Junior Suite Loft, which was on the top floor. Awesome room with two separate beds, one on top of a glassed-in loft. The kids loved it and I did too.
And the breakfast hall is stunning, by the way.

Historical cool hotel that needs some love
This hotel is cool and full of charm, with a lot of history and beautiful details. However, it could really use some TLC: some care and maintenance to bring it up to its full potential. It feels a bit stuck in time, and the bathroom showed signs of water damage and leaks. With just a bit of attention and upkeep, this place could truly be amazing.

Old world charm
Lovely classic European hotel with old world charm. Rooms are comfortable but small. Breakfast is very good with a wide variety of choices.

An excellent stay at Hotel Knaust in Sundsvall. Great tradition in the best possible location down town Sundsvall. Nicely renovated with the old architecture maintained - the mirror dining room is worth the visite.
