* Location (Central to every where)
* Great view (Riverview from 8th floor was excellent)
Cons
* Run-down room (room seems old and not maintained well. Even had a cockroach)
* Interrupted sleeps (windows are thin and not blocking street noise. Kept on waking up to police and fire brigade sirens)

It’s definitely dated. But our 3 bedroom apartment was huge and perfect for a large group of friends. Highly recommend!

Well worth it!! Service was great. Staff was friendly & helpful. The building is showing its age but we took the time to google its history & found it acceptable.

Tiki Hotel Apartments is excellent value for money. It is my place of choice when in Gold Coast. I have stayed there 7 times now. Rooms are spacious, the room spa is great. Tue pool, bbq area on ground level and Spa and Sauna on the rooftop makes for a fantastic stay

We booked this hotel by looking at the pictures of the hotel and the reality is far from expectations.
They advertise it as kids friendly place, however barring a slide in the swimming pool, there is nothing which can be called as Kids friendly in the place at all
We came here to Celebrate the birthday of my twin daughters who are now 6 year old, and The bed had sand all over it when we checked in. The room had no balcony, no decent proper ventilation and lighting is poor as well. The property is dated and is hard to enjoy the place
The pool is very small but is not heated so the kids are cold all the time which also renders it unusable.
I did mention it to the staff who were courteous enough to offer another room, however, the room was even worse than the one which we had, as it was completely claustrophobic and we didn't even use it and locked it.
However next day, upon checkout, they asked me to pay for the extra room which came as a shocker. There was no email, no message and no calls given to us, as they expected the Keys back and now they are emailing me again and again to pay the full price of the room in which we didn't even stay. This was rather horrible as now I am forced to attend to their repeated emails and when I have clearly explained our situation that because of 5 year old twins with me, it was not possible for me to have returned the keys specially when we were out making the Kids' day special.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the place, and will not recommend it to any traveler. We are a regular visitor to Gold coast and this is by far the worst experience we have had at the coast. Avoid if you can

The hotel is really old. Even when it is clean, looks like dirty, because it is too old. The wall are not sound proof, so I couldn't sleep because I could hear everything outsite. It is like there was no wall.
Also there is a huge proble of humidity in the apartment. When I arrive in the afternoon at the ap, the floor was weat from humidity.
