Lovely rooms. I have ate and drank there many times but worth a stay over too. I would recommend. TripAdvisor need to stop insisting on their random minimum 200 word reviews. This is annoying and prevents more people putting on reviews. Greyhound was fab

I chose to stay at The Greyhound Pub the night before and night of my wedding. The staff were attentative and accommodating to my needs, were very friendly and seemed to give consideration and respect for this special event in my life. The managers assisted with our celebrations in the morning after out wedding with congratulations. It felt homely and family run. Thank you for the feelings you gave us for the start of our new chapter.

The hotel had a lively outlook from the front opposite a lovely park where we enjoyed a morning walk after breakfast. The room was excellant with a comfortable bed, good quality pillows and duvet. Tea and coffee facilities also included and even a hair dryer. Bathroom was bright and towels were fluffy. Quiet location Enjoyed a lovely English breakfast for £13:50 the next morning which also includes cerals toast, tea juice and coffee

I have stayed here a few years ago and had no hesitation returning. It was as special as I remembered. Great comfortable room in a wonderful setting opposite the ponds and park . The fantastic couple on reception are so warm and welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Lovely lady Sharon who was so kind and helpful when I just got to breakfast at the last minute!. Collum on the desk sorted a small issue with the wardrobe immediately. The food also was fantastic, from the bar menu to the delicious Sunday roast. Cannot wait to return.

Pleasant stay, staff professional and polite. Friendly team and sincere. When I booked direct with the hotel, I requested on two occasions that we needed a large king ( twins together) as I had mobility issues so after unloading we realised this was not so! The walk in shower and space was great and so after a long and tiring day attending an important family funeral we settled ourselves down and ordered room service which was lovely, hot and delivered efficiently and well presented. We did not have the energy to ask to be moved so made do much to my discomfort! As we were staying for two nights I realised I should have asked to be re allocated after breakfast( which was fabulous, I must add) but did not ,which I now regret. I did notify the desk about the oversight on leaving, and quite righty said I should have asked. So...be clear when booking..I did request again the day before so no excuses! The greyhound is a unique place to stay with plenty of cosy seating areas and the food is super and with good portions. The ageing decor outside does not do it justice...although the busy road outside is off-putting, it can rarely be heard. Private car parking good too. The room was of good clean standard and the bathroom spotless, with a heated towel rail with lovely fluffy warm towels. The air con heater is not ideal (takes ages to warm up even though instructions given!) and noisy so was cold at night! Aside all that it was a good choice and convenient for our needs. We are ex Surrey People and rarely venture this way. A must visit if you do choose a stay here..and that is to zip over the road ( at a a safe point of course!)to look around the Honeywood museum..its free and very good if you are interested in the local history of the area from Victorian era and thereon. There is a a little tea room attached and a seating area overlooking the ponds. Great if the sun shines! It certainly lightened our time. Thank you to all the staff for their welcoming hospitality. Regards. Mr &Mrs B

Pleasant room, bed very comfortable, shower room sparkling clean and the shower was excellent. Breakfast, full english, was hot with local ingredients, sausages especially tasty. All members of staff we came into contact with were polite and courteous. There was a small problem with first room we were allocated as it was on third floor and due to a health issue it was too much of a haul up the stairs but we were given a second floor which was more manageable. I should have requested a ground floor when I booked so the fault was mine but the staff was very accommodating and we changed rooms with little fuss. This is our second stay and I would not hesitate to recommend the Greyhound.

Another excellant stay at the Greyhound. The staff were friendly and helpful with a swift check-in service. They have a very good bar with a wide selcetion of drinks on offer. We ate in the main restaurant on ther first night of our 3 night stay and the service great and food was lovely (super Fish and Chips). Our room in the adjacent building was on the top floor of 3, so be aware that they are quite a few steairs to climb or ask for a lower fllor room. The room clean and very comfortable. The location is brilliant, opposite Carshalton Ponds and a few minutes walk onto the high street.

Really friendly and helpful staff especially Brooke. Beautiful pondside location. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Good value for money. The bar areas get very busy at weekends, but a good selection of spirits, wines and ales.
