A lovely two night stay in this beautiful hotel overlooking mountains and the bay. A very modest hotel run by Karl and his wife. They were so gracious during our stay. We booked six rooms and Karl had everything ready to make our check-in quick and easy. There is a huge dining area where you can relax till late at night and try to get a glimpse of the Northern Lights. We did! A game room is downstairs where you can play pool or shoot darts. There is alsome exercise equipment if you are so inclined. Please note that this hotel is not in downtown Akureyri although it is a 10-15 minute ride. I highly recommend this hotel due to the owners, the amenities, cleanliness of the rooms and the spectacular views. Get the rooms overlooking the bay and the mountains.

The hotel was 10 mins drive from Akureyri and in a beautiful location overlooking the river. The room was great, host was friendly & engaged in a brief chat providing details of the property and breakfast was great. Overall, loved the stay.

Veruit mooiste hotel van IJsland wat wij bezocht hebben. Zeer vriendelijk eigenaars die deze voormalige boerderij omgebouwd hebben tot een super locatie , heerlijk eten serveren, nette kamers hebben en met als toppunt de omgebouwde silo tot uitkijktoren, de dome, die prachtig blik geeft over mooie fjord. Mochten we ooit weer naar IJsland gaan dan gaan we hier zeker weer heen

Wunderschön gelegenes Hotel, sehr ruhig. Zimmer entsprechend der Ausrichtung mit viel Holz ansprechend gestaltet. Sehr nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück. Infrarot-Sauna, Hot Tub, Billiardtisch, Dartscheibe. Ausgedehnte Spaziergänge möglich.

très décevant certes l'hôtel jouit dune jolie vue notamment depuis la tourelle d'observation mais est conçu pour les groupes en car. du coup ambiance cantine au restaurant, logement dans l'annexe en travaux de l'autre côté de la route,... accueil médiocre dommage car il y a du potentiel
