We felt very welcome and recognized from our last visit. Beautiful surroundings with a view of the sea (Svendborgsund). Plenty of opportunities to enjoy life from the terraces and gardens. A really good kitchen for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In short, it's impossible to find anything to complain about!

We stayed one night at Stella Maris Hotel de Luxe in Svendborg. The hotel itself is beautifully kept and spotless, with a peaceful, scenic setting that feels refined and relaxing. Check-in and check-out were seamless and handled efficiently by the front desk staff — everything was straightforward, and we were able to settle in and depart without any hassle. Parking was available right out front, which made arrival and departure even easier. Our room was clean and comfortable, matching the polished feel of the hotel. However, breakfast was a letdown. We arrived right as service began, yet the eggs were already cold, and the fruit salad included apples that tasted old, as if they had been sitting since the day before. The staff working breakfast were not particularly welcoming or attentive, which added to the disappointment. While the property itself is lovely, the food and service at breakfast did not reflect the same level of care. With improvements in that area, it could be a truly outstanding stay.

The food is impeccable, the staff are attentive and kind with a sense of humor. Our room was very nice, spacious and stylish. The grounds are beautiful and the view amazing. One guest had to get SoMe diffenret food due to health issues, and the kitchen delivered flawlessly.

Valentine weekend trip first time here but not our last. Great 5 course menu with wine and a tasty breakfast the next morning. I can give this hotel and restaurant my best recommendation for anyone who would like to experience world class service and dinning

The personal service and the dinner (3 courses) was absolut excellent. A kind and very helpfull receptionist and the chef of the restaurant were among the most professional we have met. The chef of the kitchen created 3 seafood dishes that was at a level that could compete with any Michelin restaurant.

The perfect place for a romantic weekend getaway or holiday. Nice rooms, beautiful view, very delicious food and nice and helpful staff. I would very much recommend Stella Maris. A little bit pricy, but everything met our (high) expectations.

The staff is super nice and welcoming. The waiters are top professionals. The rooms are nice, cozy and the cleaning is in order. The food was fantastically good and the whole evening, night and morning was taken care of very well. The breakfast was not the traditional one, extra delicious.
