Perfectly acceptable accommodations in Swakop. I would especially recommend it for families as they have a 3 bedroom option. We had breakfast only 1 of the days and it was pretty good, very friendly service. Only downsides are that the soundproofing is non-existent and the breakfast did not open on time one morning making for a hungry bunch before our tour. For couples, I'd probably recommend elsewhere, for families I'd certainly consider it.

My husband and I stayed here twice with two different groups in April and May. We had had to cancel our visit twice because of covid and the staff were always helpful. Everyone was more than helpful. Our apartments were very clean and comfortable. The English breakfast was cooked on arrival and therefore tasted delicious. The reception staff were so kind and gave us good restaurant tipps. The Desert Sands Boutique is the ideal accommodation for us when we are in Swakopmund with guests. The rooms are very spacious and small meals can be prepared in the small kitchen. Swakopmund's shops and many restaurants can be reached on foot.

We stayed at this hotel by chance, since that day we had to stay in Swakopmund because we had a car breakdown and we couldn't continue on our way. The owners were very friendly and attentive at all times, they even accompanied us to look for dinner to take away, since they were closing shortly and that way we wouldn't go without dinner. The lady serving breakfast spoke a little Spanish and was also very kind to us. The room is large and very comfortable to spend several nights even. Thank you to all the staff at Hotel Desert Sands for being a ray of light on a bad day!

We had booked a two-bedroom apartment for the four of us. It was spacious, bright and modernly furnished. Downstairs a separate bedroom with a (narrow) double bed and bathroom, upstairs on the mezzanine the t****th bedroom with a (larger) double bed and separate bathroom. The downside was that we had requested a bedroom with two single beds when booking, and we did not get that. The bed downstairs was quite small. There was a fully equipped kitchenette, which we did not use, except for the refrigerator. The breakfast was very nice and extensive, definitely recommended to book. A special mention to the super friendly staff, especially a big thank you to Grace, who welcomed us with a big smile every day! The location of this accommodation is also very favorable: within walking distance of the beach and restaurants, in a quiet area. You can park your car in the secure parking lot.

Отличное расположение, но нужно понимать, что отель находится прям около дороги. До берега 5-7 минут. Рядом много кафе и магазинчиков с сувенирами. Хороший двухуровневый номер с кухней и всей необходимой посудой. Уютный диванчик на первом этаже и удобная двуспальная кровать на втором. Снизила оценку за неторопливый сервис. При звезде в номер, одна из штор была почти до последнего крючка оторвана и попросту завязана на узел. Попросили девушку на ресепшен исправить ситуацию, так как окно очень высокое и расположено прямо напротив кровати - утром будет солнце прямо в лицо, а вечером при свете - мы как на ладони на проезжей части. Однако штору подвесили только на следующий день (((
