A beautifully curated hotel experience, with authentic, individual, stone cottages all with natural pathways down to the sea. I have rarely seen such quality in Australia. The restaurant and main reception building were equally appealing, and the restaurant menu was excellent. Having a kitchenette in the property was lovely, and the breakfast hamper a nice touch. The pool was cold, but clean and well situated, and the free tennis courts, bikes, and kayaks was a lovely touch. Location is excellent for Swansea, and Freycinet, although it's worth being aware it's an hour drive round to Wine Glass Bay. A beautiful property, I could have stayed for many more days.

Lovely location on the sea with a long beach to walk on. Expensive accommodation at $520 / night but beautifully designed, constructed and equipped cottages. Too cool and drizzly on our stay to take advantage of the pool or tennis court. I appreciated the complimentary birthday bottle of Tasmanian sparkling wine and subsequently enjoyed an excellent dinner at the property’s Homestead restaurant. The provided in-room breakfast ingredients were ok but most properties in this price bracket would provide a ‘proper’ breakfast in the dining area. Attentive and friendly staff.

The premium king suite with spa bath had the most incredible front on view looking out to the ocean. It was lovely listening to the waves at night. Has its own deck and very spacious open plan room with high ceilings and huge bathroom. We enjoyed the quality of the breakfast supplies that were left in the fridge/kitchenette area of our room (which easily covered breakfast for two days for us) and the bathroom products were all sls/paraben free. King bed mattress was a medium feel. Car park right out the front of out room was so convenient. The resort is situated on such a large piece of land. And the different accommodation options are scattered around. You need to drive to get to reception and to where the pool & tennis court is. There are bikes and kayaks you can borrow. They made me feel truly special for my bday with a hand written card and bubbles which was so kind. Short 4 min drive to Swansea, 1hr from Freycinet National Park, and there are several wineries are nearby. Tip: Go to Kate’s Berry Farm (4min drive down the road) for amazing scones, icecream and coffee. We loved our stay here and would return. Feels luxurious, quiet, private and secluded. But there is room for improvement : 1. Better wifi. The connection was really bad, which meant we couldn’t watch anything on netflix. It meant we could only watch tv. 2. We didn’t get to eat at the Homestead restaurant but the reviews were very mixed. Perhaps the menu needs a refresh? Piermont staff should communicate to guests that there aren’t many places to eat dinner in Swansea town depending on which night you stay. So it is worth booking a table at the Homestead Restaurant (we missed out because Pietmont seemed to close bookings by lunch time for dinner that night). It would also be great to communicate that guests get a cheaper rate for dinner than others would. Noticed the menu on website has a higher rate than the menu left in the room. This would have been an incentive to book to eat there. And there should be a direct phone# for the restaurant. The number on google maps & the website for the restaurant actually goes to the hotel reception desk which closes at 4:30pm. Given the restaurant opens at 6pm it seems odd that they are so out of reach. This would save guests from turning up at 6pm hoping for a table, only to be turned away. So if you want the ease of eating onsite, book in advance. Charging $50 pp if you cancel your booking is alot. Some flexibility would be good given when on holidays it is hard to know exactly how long different tourist activities will take & drive times. Another idea, save a few tables for guests who are staying onsite or add extra outdoor tables. 3. We were unsure if we needed to clean the dishes we used in our room or if the cleaners do so. We cleaner them as we didn’t want a fee. A sign or communication about this would have been helpful.

We had the most incredible 3 day wedding festival at Piermont. The accommodation is stunning, the staff and customer service is incredible, and the food absolutely delicious. We had a flawless experience as did our guests and I couldn’t recommend Piermont higher for anyone that is looking to get married there, or just for a night (or few nights) away. Stacey is the most brilliant events manager, nothing was forgotten. Cameron, Gabi and Pasco are fabulous front of house, and Calvin is such a talented head chef, along with the rest of the kitchen team, leaving us so full but still wanting to eat more as it was all so tasty. Along with the maintenance and house keeping team, and reception team, we had the experience of a lifetime and it will never be forgotten by our guests or ourselves. Thank you

Beautiful property with an incredible jaw dropping view. The Piermont staff give you the attention and support of a 5 star hotel but the cottages give you the feel of privacy and tranquility. The view from our bedroom is stunning. Gorgeous sunset and the property is beautiful. Staff gave us wonderful recommendations for wineries in the area. After a long walk around Freycinet we had a long warm bath looking over the water. Cosied up watching the sunset with a glass of bubbles. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

The complete experience was so special. This was the 2nd time I have stayed, 4 years apart. Both times the cottages have been superb and so special. SO WARM. The fires are fabulous. We were staying for the Sarah Glover special event. Calam, Piermont's chef worked so wonderfully enjoying being beside Sarah. Was amazing and the atmosphere was fabulous. I highly recommend, the sound of the ocean being so close was beautiful. Staff friendly and grounds were exceptional.
