It is beachfront on the Northend of Tybee (less crowded beaches); yet only 1 mile from “down front” aka the south end of the island and Tybrisa Street. Around the corner you’ll find a beach front pool, kiddie pool and plenty of lounge seating. Next to the pool is the boardwalk to the beach. Also, the grounds include tennis courts, playground, picnic tables and grills.The condo is completely furnished, including a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size fridge, microwave, four-burner stove, oven, blender, coffee maker, and all essential cooking ware (pots, pans, etc. ) Also, it includes all dish and flat ware (utensils, plates, glasses). Don’t worry about bringing the bulky beach gear that crowds up your trunk - we have a wagon, chairs, umbrella, cooler, and beach toys and towels waiting for you here!The unit is on the 3rd floor. We have an elevator, however, the building is up on stilts about 6 feet, so there are some steps to get up the elevator. There is a ramp on the front west side of the building in case you need that instead of taking the steps to the elevator.The main bedroom has queen size bed and has a very comfortable mattress. It has a large closet with plenty of room for your luggage and clothes.The bunk beds are such a fun experience for kids. It includes a ladder and a safety bar to prevent falls. The doorway in the hall and direct bathroom access from the master allow parents to put the little ones to bed and be able to access the rest of the condo without disturbing the little ones!The living room has a comfortable sofa, with a 50 inch flat screen HD-TV that includes full cable and Roku TV for streaming.The laundry facilities are at the end of the complex breezeway, the room to the right. The washers & dryers are coin operated and it costs approximately $3.50 to wash & dry a load. They don't have a coin machine, so if you plan to do laundry be sure to bring plenty of quarters.The lighthouse and Jaycee Park are just a 10-minute walk away. The park has scenic streams with turtles, basketball court, softball field, playground, disc golf course, picnic tables and grills. The dining area features a large farm house table that can seat 10 people. The living room continues the coastal vibe with 2 large couches and an oversized chair. The master bedroom is an oasis with king bed, 13 ft ceilings and a quite seating area. The master bedroom closet is so large we stuck a full size bed in there if needed for extra guest. The kids room upstairs is adjacent to the master bedroom with full bed with twin over. The second king bedroom and queen bedroom are located on main floor and share a bathroom. Check out video with drone footing to get a birds eye view of the area. There are several bikes available for guest use along with gas and charcoal grill. The grilling area downstairs has a sectional sofa and chair with a 6 person table along with a full outdoor bath. We provide a starter kit of soaps, shampoos and paper products along with filters and coffee for a standard coffee pot. There is also a keurig. There is an IGA grocery on Tybee that is a short walk or bicycle ride from the house if you need additional supplies. Additional charge of $50 per night to heat pool October thru April 1st. It is an old-time beach solution to coming home sandy; direct access to one of the bathroom showers from the outside. There is also an outdoor shower in the back. But make no mistake, this is a stand alone, single family house that will be completely private for you should you choose our place. ***If you are joining us during a cooler month, the pool heater brings the temperature up but it does not make the water hot. Please understand that water can be made about 20 degrees over the average ambient temperature, and that it can only get to about 85 degrees at its warmest. This is a lot better than 40 degrees, believe me, but the water is not hot. There is the hot tub for that!On the Subject of Golf Carts: We have no problem with you renting one if you are able, but as the house is on the beach side of Butler/Highway 80, you can't always rent a golf cart from the local renters. This is because there are specific rules about where you can cross on Butler given traffic and season. However, as you as so close to everything, and especial close to the beach, we hope this won't be an issue.
