AVOID!!! Apartments were Absolutely disgusting, dirty and mouldy! Vomit stains on carpets. When contacted owners about problems there were very rude with no solution. Located right in the centre of nightclubs so no sleep until after 5am very loud. Couldn't wait to leave!

Firstly it’s not even on Fleet Street is actually on Roe Street and you may think this isn’t the place when you get there but unfortunately guys it is. I always try, to never judge a book by its cover but by god it was spot on! When you enter the apartment you are met by black bin bags and floor that is begging to be hoovered and washed. Rubbish up the stairs and a smell of damp and cigarettes wafting through the building. We were in the basement apartment and I was surprised to be told it wasn’t actually a crack house. Theres an alarm constantly beeping inside the door of the building and how I didn’t go insane or rip it off the wall and dance on it, I will never know. It was left unfixed, to traumatise you as you tried to settle into your lovely weekend. Secondly, You’d want a hazmat suit to safely stay in this apartment! It’s like they were trying to support *** pride but instead of paint they just let the various colours of stains seep into the couches and carpets. There was a vomit stain that never seen a drop of detol and you’d want a full body condom to sit on them couches with the white stains that decorated them. You could say It’s giving “The Shining”, But forget here’s Johnny, it’s here’s walls covered in mould.. dirty, black, damp mould, and in some places green! One of the bathrooms didn’t have a lock so you literally couldn’t sh*te in peace! Thinking of showering to wash away the overwhelming feeling of disgust? Well scrap that, as the shower smelt like stagnant water.. so imagine standing there trying to wash it away and being met with that smell wafting from the drain pipes I refuse to think it could have been the water as I can barely sleep as it is. Fair enough the location is great but if you want to feel like you’re in a mixture between crack house and a holding cell in Guantanamo bay then this is the place!

Where to start!! our first issue was actually finding the apartments as they're not on Fleet Street, they're on Roe Alley just off Fleet Street, black door with no number on it. Once we finally got into our apartment on first glance everything looked not so bad - very cheap and cheerful, dorms with a number of single beds in each room and hanging rail for clothes, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen diner (no microwave or oven, just had kettle, toaster, fridge and plenty of mugs and glasses). The apartments are central to the nightlife which is great as you don't need to walk far - Popworld and numerous bars/pubs/clubs are just around the corner and this is where the issues lie - all the windows are single glazed and the noise is absolutely horrendous, you may as well be sleeping in the nearest bar and the music doesn't turn off until around 5/6am which is when you then hear people shouting/singing/trying to find taxis and then the street cleaning teams arrive - bin lorries emptying all the bottle bins, street cleaning machines which goes on for another 2 hours. There is also a beeping noise at the front door of the apartments which is continuous so if you're unlucky enough to sleep near the front door you also get this noise along with everything else. There were a group of 10 of us ranging in age from 43-74 and I don't think any of us got more than 2 hours sleep, I think even if we had earplugs it wouldn't drown out the noise. We also had an issue trying to get in the front door on our last night as the mechanism was broken, we had to literally bang the door down for someone to wake up and open it from the inside - we did actually manage to speak to the maintenance team and they assured us it was getting fixed. Positives - - Cheap and near to all the nightlife. great location. - Bathrooms were modern, showers were good and plenty of hot water. - Bedding was clean. - Ideal for groups and if you're not bothered about getting any sleep then these apartments would be ideal. Negatives - - Noise, lack of sleep. - Not much room in the bedrooms as there are lots of beds in them. - Not the cleanest, mould in the bathrooms and on the bottoms of some of the beds and it's a bit tired looking when you look more closely.
