"Beautiful and lovely surroundings. A lot to choose from for breakfast.
Most of the staff are nice, but there is one guy who is not that nice very rude the way he talks and answering questions.
There is two glass in the bathroom which is fine but if you request for a glass to drink in the room they will still bring you the same kind of glasses to you. I think they should have different shapes of glass for different purposes.
Also some of their tea cups are too big and is not classy at all. "

"What an absolute amazing find. The setting was so beautiful and the room was outstanding and so much nicer than we could have ever imagined. The free standing bath was our favourite, the bed was very comfortable and the settee area was very nice. The staff were very understanding of my sons disability and were very patient and kind. The breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed and cannot wait to return. Could have easily stayed there for days"

I was very happy with my stay, during check- in staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. The room was very clean and nice only small problem is that rooms are not set up for the powering up of cell-phones, Recommend the desk provide attachments so that tourist can keep there phones powered up. During my 12 days stayed at four other similiar locations, your facility was the only one without adapters for cell phone charge.
Your food downstairs was great especially enjoyed the fish and chips. All in all a great stay I will DE finitely be returning very much enjoyed my stay with you,"

"There was a double booking on our booked apartment but the customer service offered us another similar property which was cozy and clean. The beds were comfy, the bathroom was big and clean. We had a good night sleep in a stormy weather outside. Location was central. There was £100 online payment of deposit before sharing the self-check details, which has not been returned yet. I hope, it will be resolved soon."

Llornalovely, well kept hotel. All staff were very friendly and welcoming towards us and were great with the little one.
restaurant/bar was also very clean and staff kept on top of clearing tables etc. The food we had was very nice, a bit expensive but a nice treat. nice childrens menu, featuring 2 or 3 course options too.
I would definitely book here again and recommend to others.
Very pleased with the accommodation, nice comfortable family room. room 321. only downside was the sight of mould on the ceiling above bath/shower but everything else was brilliant.

BBells on the roadClose to M4, do easy to get to. Room a little dated and tired. Wifi good and room had air conditioning. Breakfast like a cattle mart, needs to have a simple solution that people walk in one way and out another. Bed uncomfortable and as the room was on M4 side noisy if window open. Room near lift, so was a little noisy from people in hall way.

There are some positives, such as, the breakfast which was very tasty and hot, the comfort of the bed, the shower was powerful and hot and the TV, which allowed me to watch programmes that I wanted.
However, the negatives are not so good.
These include: -
1. When I booked, I saw nothing mentioned of how the elevator did not operate from lower ground (LG) to upper ground (UG). The only means of getting to the reception, which is on the UG level is by climbing 12 steps. This was totally unacceptable as two of my party are elderly, very frail and have extreme difficulties in ascending and descending stairs. Had we have been advised prior to booking, I am certain we wouldn't have booked.
2. The gentlemen's toilet in the reception has an awful odour as you enter it.
3. On to our designated rooms. We stayed in rooms 527 & 523 (second party).
With 527, the air conditioning does not operate and on entry to the room it was particularly stuffy and hot. Moreso, as a safety precaution, and because it is a high level floor, it is not possible to open the windows to allow airing of the room. This just accentuated the discomfort as the room was too warm.
The toilet flush pressure was poor and flushed too short. I should leave that to ones imagination.
In 523, the hairdryer does not work.
4. One annoying issue; which was not only experienced by us, but also by the patron of room 511; was after we had finished our breakfast and returned to our rooms, none of us could enter due to the key cards being disabled. This was at 1040, and we were prior advised that check out was at 1100.
This was corrected by Tracey, who was apologetic and very nice to deal with (which is another positive, of course).
All in all, my memory of this stay, which was only for 20 hours, will not be the best experience of a hotel stay that I've ever had, and unless they can correct the negatives very soon, I am sorry to say that I would not recommend to family or friends to stay here.

While the decor may be somewhat dated, it didn't detract from our overall experience. The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions. Overall, DoubleTree Hotel provided us with a satisfactory stay and good value for the price.”

Kkerrie41Excellent reception staff on arrival friendly and helpful, bar was nice and relaxing plenty of places to sit and drink...restaurant looked equally as nice although we didn't eat ...pool looked plenty big and gym facilities looked good to ...we only stayed one night so didn't use everything but I would definitely stay again ...room was a good size bathroom looked a little tired but was nice and clean plenty of towels ect and soap,hand lotion, body wash,shampoo ect was nice for a quick shower before check out.

Lladyshire22Excellent. Location to m4 is great for working on the road or for leisure purposes. Very clean and exceptionally efficient with turn around. Check in quick. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast options for room service are one of the best I've had, better than some 4/5 stars! IHG are setting the standard for value, service and overall performance very high and my go to hotel group at the moment. IHG being Holiday Inn, Hilton and Roko to name a few.

GGuest UserThis hotel has got high standards on cleanliness and service consistently. On a bitterly cold weekend the room was warm throughout. In fact very comfortable bed and no need for extra blanket. 2 small issues. The pillows were a bit lumpy but fine and the restarant did not serve evening meals to our liking but overall outstanding !!! Cannot wait to return.
