If I could copy of story book of what a fairytale is on a spring day then Swinton would be it! From our moment of arrival the staff delivered service of excellence and made us welcome. We used the spa, the new lady on reception explained the layout and provided us with robes. The spa was spotlessly clean and the gentleman looking after the natural pool was so polite and keeping things shipshape. My treatment was the cooking nitrogen facial and just perfect for my needs and I have had a lot of pressures lately and feeling puffy before and could see the difference. We walked the gorgeous woods and I don’t remember seeing a path so beautiful. Our room was clean and stunning. Sleep was perfect and we heard no noise at all other than nature. We had Sunday lunch at Samuel’s and it was nothing less than excellent. I cannot praise the staff there enough. The food was top notch and the experience was relaxing and fine. All of the diners were complementing the food. Lisa on reception booked us some on site experiences. We found Lisa to be most professional and capable and a great asset to the hotel. All in all this stay have been marvellous and it’s been a blessing to experience such a special place in its full glory. Thank you.

Swinton is an outstanding experience. Even in the eye of a big December storm, the buildings and grounds are impressive. The insides are warm, welcoming yet still sumptuous The service and food quality is second to none. We had one of the cottages so we could be together as a family for my wife’s 60th birthday. A gorgeous home from home with all the amenities on top Samuels restaurant was a particular highlight of our weekend stay. One to return too. Often!

Have just departed from Swinton Park and can’t wait to return. Such an amazingly well run establishment with superb Staff in all departments. Hospitality is having a dreadful time at the moment and Swinton Park is to be admired for its efforts in increasing its high standards without lessening the quality. Very highly recommended

This was our 4th visit and we will definitely be returning. For a 5 star hotel that offers a stunning venue and location plus excellent service and food choices it has a really relaxed atmosphere. You can be yourself and enjoy the facilities without any pretence or expectations

Stayed one night for owl photography and spa day. Staff were great. Room (Agra Moor) was good but shared an entrance with another room. The neighbours were early risers and couldn’t close doors quietly. The hotel and grounds were lovely. The spa was good but let down by unexpected work on the outside pool and some jet washing. The owl photography was excellent.

Really really disappointing customer service. I contacted Swinton Park via email on 30 April to try to book Afternoon Tea for a celebration for a significant Anniversary. As I have a severe nut allergy,I wanted to ensure this could be catered for. I was told the Head Chef would be consulted and they would get back to me. Despite chasing twice via email for a response,I still have not received one. I don't understand why it should take so long to check that the Chef could accommodate my allergy ,after all it's only a few sandwiches and cakes. I find it rude not to respond to customers promptly. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

The location and the rooms are gorgeous, and the grounds and the gardens are fantastic to walk around. There's so much to do, you'll probably never do it all, but highly enjoyed the Birds of Prey experience. Excellent dining on property and the town Masham which is about a 10 minute walk has 2 breweries and beautiful architecture.
