"We stayed here on our last night of a two week Ireland vacation to be near the airport for an early flight. We arrived in the evening and no air conditioning in our room!!! No one told us at check-in and I do not recall seeing anything about no ac on the website when booking. I looked on the company website prior to booking in addition to Trip.com. I purposely looked at each of our accommodations for air conditioning. Staff told us they were updating the hotel and there was a sign in the elevator. Nope, no sign about air conditioning in the elevator. It was too late to find another hotel when we realized we would not have air. Of the two windows in our room, only one opened. We were lucky it was not too hot and left first thing in the morning to get out of there. Some communication would have been nice or at least apologies."

"We stayed here after a long flight into Dublin Airport and were surprised how close it is to the airport! Less than 10 minute drive to a lovely little town with many nice restaurants and bars. You can also drive into Malahide in less than 10 minute too. The hotel itself was lovely with a large room and nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly and there is parking at the hotel. There is a bar on site so it can be a little loud but there wasn’t noise too late at night so I wouldn’t let this put anyone off staying here"

Safe, secure car park on site Convenient shuttle bus service Lovely, spacious bar/restaurant with great choice of food and drinks. Plus, 24hr coffee dock beside bar. Friendly staff This was my third stay in the hotel, most recently, April 2025 I stayed in a rooftop balcony suite. King-size bed, living area, balcony and loads more. Great comfy rooms"

"The Hotel was beautiful and the location was great the clean facilities were excellent and the service was exemplary. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Grand. Our problem seems to be with TRIP.COM. We paid our bill, a fact born out by our credit card, but we keep getting notices for nonpayment. I have tried to contact the hotel with no luck and no luck with TRIP.COM."

"Good location if you're looking to stay near the airport, but I honestly wish we had spent another night in the small Mourneview B&B near Carlingford and made the drive into DUB. This hotel is huge and packed with people. The receptionist was kind, but the line up is long and once you finally find parking, you're fed up waiting. There is air conditioning in the lobby, but not in the hotel rooms. Felt like an oven as soon as you walk to the elevator and the night was long as the room was warm, so we opened the windows and then we had the noise of the busy motorway outside. The room was okay, but then we found gum stuck under the table. The breakfast was the best part, the buffet has many options to choose from."

"The hotel is old and the color lights are dark. But the facilities are complete, there is an indoor pool, and you can also sauna. If you can renovate it, I believe it will be a very good hotel. Very close to Dublin Airport. I think I should go again, after all, there are not many hotels with swimming pools."
