Maintenance / housekeeping was sub-par, trash placed in bags next to bins not emptied, items left around not tidied (when logical to just arrange them on the table for example), no additional amenities like toothbrushes, and used table surfaces which were clearly messy with water / food stains not wiped clean. Beautiful hotel but felt like housekeeping did the bare minimum to get by to just replace towels and reset the bed.

Very conveniently located, modern and friendly staff.
Rooms are clean, and nice although the bathroom has a strange layout.
We asked for an upgrade on arrival (it was Christmas Eve) and they gave it to us for free. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

Location is great, close to the museum, central train, Chinatown and CBD.
There is 2 restaurants and a cafe onsite, the coffee was great but we didn't dine at the restaurant.
The room was a bit small for a family of 4 but was able to get a good deal so was worth the price we paid

Ace Hotel Sydney offers a fantastic experience with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Their helpfulness and genuine hospitality make you feel right at home. The stylish design and prime location add to the charm, but it’s the attentive service that truly sets this hotel apart.
