Rose View Hotel

Our stay started out with a request for an airport pick up, which was a disaster. The driver spoke no English, fine he knew where to take us. He drove like a bat out of hell zig zagging into oncoming traffic and semi trucks, beeping and tooting his horn every 3 seconds. Then, he decides to take a personal detour for some unknown reason which took us 20+ minutes out of the way from the hotel. He exits the vehicle and is gone for over 5 minutes. We had no phone signal nor any idea if he had simply abandoned us. We finally made it to the hotel and this place is, at best, a 1 or 2 star hotel in a major city anywhere on Earth. The rooms are generally clean, but the carpets and furniture leave something to be desired. I decided to use bottled water to brush my teeth, and they did leave ample waters in the rooms. There is a “speakeasy” on floor 11 that serves one brand of beer in a bottle and shots of Jack Daniel’s whiskey, and not cheaply I might add. A small bottle of beer will set you back $6. Hopefully this chaotic city will one day receive a Bonvoy property.

It was a nice family trip and we enjoy our stay at hotel. But our are selection was wrong we stay to much crowded area. Overall service is good but need renovations at rooms specially. Roof top is huge but not properly maintain . Breakfast is good too and we enjoy it

Had a great experience. Long story short, the service really amazed me. They have Fluent speaking Executive's which lead me to no confusion understanding anything. They are well educated. Rooms are so so I had two rooms in total. One was quite spacious than the other one. You will love their Buffet Dinner. Haven't had good flavourful food in a while. Coffe shop looks really peaceful to me. & when it rains you can hear the sound from coffe shop from the Aquarium on top looks like a tomb. But they should have swimming tiers I had to wear life jackets lol Overall I'm giving you guys 5 star coz you deserve it

Hotel staff breached privacy by entering my room while I was changing using master key in the name delivering fruit basket. I could not get chance to respond after they knocked and the door was already opened. They said they have briefed housekeeping about it and will take action. I asked for a written apology which I never received neighther did the manager cared to call and apologise after I complained at the front desk. Their doors do not have security locks from inside, so this is a high risk to privacy. I never faced such awkward situation anywhere even at cheaper hotels I stayed across the globe.

It may have been an excellent hotel when it opened and several people I spoke to beforehand rated it highly. Sadly, I will not be one of those people. Pros A nice plate of fruits after checking in Door staff were very polite. Rooms are spacious (Executive room on 8th floor and double room on 11th floor next to presidential suite) Cons Very disappointing entrance, you go into a small entrance of the hotel but then need to take the lift to the 5th floor. The other floors between ground and 4th floor are rented out to businesses to increase revenue for the hotel. Bathrooms need to improve, I stayed in two rooms for two nights and the water from the shower leaked over the sides onto the floor (spend some money and put some fixed glass shower screens and the water won’t end on the floor) The hotel lights are turned off during the day for energy saving. At face value it’s a commendable effort ( how about spending some money and putting in some light sensors for the really dark areas so when a customer walks by the light temporary lights up ) Breakfast was a drab affair with a semblance of international offering Lunch - Lukewarm burger, which was very hard, I would say frozen and then heated up Dinner - poorly labelled lukewarm food, you could try “Srimp Spaghetti” or “Poteto Salad” if you like. Poor communication, I messaged them 3 weeks before my visit to ask for late checkout and got no response. In the end I had to book for a second day (not bad for increasing revenue) Poor single glazing allowing traffic nose to calm through. In summary, it’s an overpriced hotel for what it offers and living off its former glory.
