Vorsicht! Die hier veröffentlichten Bewertungen stammen alle aus der Zeit VOR dem Verkauf des Hotels an die Wagner-Gruppe. Seither hat sich vieles verändert, aber nicht zum Vorteil. Keine Speisekarte, kundenfeindliche Öffnungszeiten des Restaurants, keine Bedienung auf der Terrasse, überteuertes Halbpensionsmenü (nur Buffet)....

Wir haben für einen Kurzaufenthalt im Hotel Frauenberger übernachtet. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit einer schönen Aussicht auf die umliegenden Hügel. Das schöne große Fenster war zum Glück nicht mit einer Gardine verhangen. Das kleine, feine Schwimmbad haben wir auch benutzt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals. Wir haben uns als E-Autofahrer gefreut, dass eine Wallbox vorhanden ist, die man nach Absprache mit der Hotelbesitzerin benutzen kann.

Wir haben uns hier wohl gefühlt. Sehr freundliches Personal. Gutes Frühstück, nach dem Wandern noch ins Schwimmbad . Auch das abendliche Essen war möglich - uns aber etwas zu teuer. Daher sind wir in den Ort runter gegangen. Gemütliche Terrasse am Restaurant.

Das Hotel macht von außen einen eher einfachen Eindruck. Im Haus dann spürt man doch schon eine leicht antike, aber liebenswürdige Qualität. Ob die Zimmer eine Gardine brauchen oder nicht, ist sicher Geschmackssache. Ich habe sie nicht vermisst, es machte einen wunderbaren, ungestörten Blick auf ein schönes Stück Thüringen möglich. Danke dafür. Am Frühstück gab es nichts auszusetzen, ein typisches Kontinentalfrühstück mit dezenten Beilagen aus Thüringen. Vielleicht einmal überlegen, ob es Fisch angeboten werden sollte. Hervorzuheben ist die natürliche Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeitenden.

Essen nicht zu empfehlen. Wildschwein braten sehr fest, zäh und voller Sehnen und nicht schmeckender Soße. Servietten im Brotkorb voller Löcher. Niemals 4 Sterne ! Bedienung freundlich, aber was nützt das wenn das Essen nicht schmeckt.

ideal, um die Weihnachtsfeiertage dort zu verbringen. Wir sind schon das dritte mal über Weihnachten im "Hotel Frauenberger" und fühlen uns immer wieder gut aufgehoben. Die Zimmer sind normaler Standard, das Schwimmbad super und ebenso das Frühstück. Das Weihnachtsmenü einfach nur lecker und von sehr guter Qualität. Ebenso das Menü am ersten und zweiten Weihnachtfeiertag. Einfach nur Spitze. Das Personal ist freundlich und auf Extrawünsche wird gern reagiert und auch die Küche ist sehr flexibel, da ich so einige Allergene nicht vertrage. Ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen.
